Pandora 77 Posted July 5, 2007 It's the right our forefathers fought to give us. What could be more patriotic than dropping a string of 200 firecrackers down the storm drain at 10pm?

Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted July 5, 2007 we got a heck of a lightning show last night and then the rain started pouring. luckily, we had already shot off all the fireworks. and i heard D.C. had some weather issues as well, so i was wondering if anyone else got rained out. :p
Brumak 2 Posted July 5, 2007 We had rain off and on a bit...most annoying thing was the fireworks were making it hard for me to hear my XBox :p
Rogue 4 Posted July 5, 2007 Yeah, the rain by me forced us all under the tent for a while, and canclled the nearby fireworks shows.
TheUnknown 39 Posted July 5, 2007 Lucky nerfherders. We're in the middle of a horrendous drought. It's getting to the point where rain is almost like snow: the news continuously teases it but it never happens. When it does happen, it's not enough, but what little there is is enough to make people go bonkers and forget all traffic laws.

Pandora 77 Posted July 5, 2007 We've been getting rain all week. Kia said Nashville's dry as a bone. So much so that her front yard caught fire. Lucky for us the grass was still damp in Memphis. If it hadn't been, we'd just have been five more dumb rednecks in the newspaper, lol.
