Master Hayes 1 Posted November 17, 2009 I'm diving into "The Sword of Shannara" by Terry Brooks I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Brooks a couple of years ago. He signed my copy of "The Phantom Menace" and the book he was touring for "Armageddon's Children". He's a very nice guy.
Drake 53 Posted November 17, 2009 I've read the entire Shannara series and it's probably my favourite fantasy series after Lord of the Rings.

Bad furday 57 Posted January 2, 2010 After looking it up on Amazon, I'm actually disappointed that The Greatest Show on Earth isn't a complete history of the Ringling Bros., Barnum and Bailey Circus. But, sis has The God Delusion in her book collection...I must go read it now.

Pandora 77 Posted January 20, 2010 Haha, speaking of too much immortality.... Since my last post, I have read: Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles and the extended Tales (Blood and Gold, The Vampire Armand, etc) at least one more total go-round. The Southern Vampire Series by Charlaine Harris, in total, TWICE All of Jim Butcher's Dresden Files (And bought the Sci-fi channel season on DVD... sad how good it was) Vathek Frankenstein again. Northanger Abbey by Jane Austin Wuthering Heights by Bronte, again. A slew of poetry by Blake, Keats, Wordsworth (bleh), S.T. Coleridge, Shelley (both of them), and Byron. The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty by Anne Rice (originally published under A.N. Rouqulare). It's a fabulous piece of smut if you're into BDSM.... And yesterday I finished The Vampire Lestat again... I adore it more everytime I read it. *sighs* and started Queen of the Damned again... I can't wait to get to my favorite scene... "Amadeo, my love," says it all if you know the story. I have also ordered Bright Star by John Keats, and I am waiting for Borders to get the second volume of the dirty Sleeping Beauty trilogy in stock. *surveys the list again* Yeah, I think I got everything. Pandora 77 Posted January 23, 2010 No, but I'd kinda like to, though at the same time, I think I'd prefer the book. Leaves more to the imagination.
