Uncle Du 22 Posted January 3, 2017 Well I just finished Without Fail. I don't have any more Reacher books, so I guess I'm going to start on this stack of Patterson novels I have.
Uncle Du 22 Posted January 5, 2017 My Lady came home from work yesterday with another Reacher book for me haha! It's the one they based the first movie off of, One Shot. It's already pretty different from the movie. But they're both good in their own ways.
Mara 29 Posted January 6, 2017 Yeah, I read that one recently. Was thinking of seeing the movie sometime, now I've read it. Just haven't gotten around to it.

Just finished it Mara. Book; way different than the movie.. Movie: Still Awesome.. Watch the movie. If ya have Amazon, or Apple, or whoever for movies, lemme know, I will buy this movie for you, seriously. I need someone else who has read the book, and seen the movie lol.. Mara 29 Posted January 16, 2017 Haha, no worries. I think it's on TV sometimes. Or I will rent it for frees from the library. Speaking of... I just breezed through Marvel's Star Wars Han Solo comic. Now I'm reading Nothing to Lose by Lee Child.
Mara 29 Posted January 21, 2017 (edited) Finally finished Jack Reacher book! Now reading Cross Justice by James Patterson. Trying to get through these quickly. I want to read books that qualify for my library's winter reading club/challenge thing. I need ten books by the end of March for a chance to win an iPad. (I hate Apple, so I figure I can sell it and buy a "real" tablet ... if I were to win, ha.) And so far I've only got one book that has qualified for one of the categories -- graphic novel, of course! So wait, did you finish ALL the Reacher books? I'm up to Persuader now, and I have The Enemy on hot standby lol. I think you'll be able to breeze through 10 books well before March haha! Mara 29 Posted January 25, 2017 No, no, no, just that one I was reading, Nothing to Lose. I still have about 8 more to go before I'm caught up in the series. I'm reading chronologically, so I don't forget what I have and haven't read (and because I'm anal). Though these books in particular are pretty fairly stand-alone for the most part. Haha, we'll see! With work, I don't have as much free time. Halfway through Cross Justice, though. James Patterson always reads fast for me.

Mara 29 Posted February 11, 2017 Finally got to some books I can count for my reading club thing, haha. Almost done with The Illiad by Homer. (For something written in another language, cha-ching). Then I have The Girl on the Train on deck. (For a book turned into a movie... a movie I haven't seen ha.) But I think the Thrawn book comes out in another week or two, so I'll probably have that up soon as well. (Too bad I cannot count that for 'takes place in a country I want to visit' )
TheUnknown 39 Posted February 13, 2017 Misery by Stephen King

It's so twisting and complex. Numerous times I had to go back in the book to remember one little reference made. I don't think any movie, or mini series will even be able to compare with the complex nature of the series. But it'll be interesting to see them try.
Mara 29 Posted February 24, 2017 Gonna make myself finish Open Season by C.J. Box before I let myself read the new Star Wars: Aftermath book. *repeats like a mantra*

Andy 60 Posted March 5, 2017 I need to read some of the new books... And I remember my mum reading the first Dark Tower book in the 90s and then catching up without realising that King was taking forever to write the series. I've not read them myself but I hear they link in to most of his other works too.
