I'm just finishing my eighth Star Wars book, Allegiance. It fits into the timeline a short time after A New Hope, which means Luke is not yet a Jedi, but Mara Jade is firmly ensconced in her position as the Emperor's Hand. I'm so stoked! Andy 60 Posted February 1, 2006 (edited) Pssh. I already said that. Also, Zahn said that he is working on a book called Allegiance (working title), which ties in with his Outbound Flight novel. It is set between ANH and ESB, Luke is not yet a Jedi (quote: "and hopefully not too whiney"), and Mara Jade is at the height of her powers as the Emperor's Hand. Mara 29 Posted February 19, 2007 Well, I finished it... It was good.. but somehow it seemed a little flat. Like, not much really happened. After having read it, I don't feel like I know anything new about these characters, not really. I'd put this in the class with Outbound Flight. It was cool and all, but not much happened.
