Ender 8 Posted November 16, 2005 Yeah they were, but not nearly so much as Robbie Williams and Take That... gah, they were so awful.
Andy 60 Posted November 16, 2005 Robbie Williams isn't anything like as annoying as B*witched. The best thing he ever did was leave Take That, lol. I was unlucky enough to be at high school when they broke up. Bloody girls crying over a band. geez, twas crazy.
Mara 29 Posted November 16, 2005 I've never heard of Take That... is that bad?
SoftballJedi 0 Posted November 16, 2005 Yeah, seriously. People around the world learned that from a B*WITCHED song! Whose B*WITCHED? I think it was before my time Before your time? Are you about five years old? http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...573665?v=glance They were Ireland's Spice Girls. No..13 It sounded like a late 80s or early 90s name, so I thought it was before me.

Ender 8 Posted November 18, 2005 I've never heard of Take That... is that bad? No. In fact, your ears are probably less damaged than Beeurd's or mine, lol.
Brumak 2 Posted November 18, 2005 It's a persons natural law to be able to make choices. Some choices, such as being bi/gay/lesbian...are wrong or right only in personal oppinion. I have quite a few gay and bi friends....and they're just as much friends as any of my straight friends.
Andy 60 Posted November 18, 2005 I've never heard of Take That... is that bad? No. In fact, your ears are probably less damaged than Beeurd's or mine, lol. Yes, thats very good a thing. I'm quite envious. :p

Andy 60 Posted November 18, 2005 (edited) See, Anubis can stay on topic. *wonders if the Egyptian god of the dead would mind being called Ani* ;) Edited November 18, 2005 by beeurd
Andy 60 Posted November 18, 2005 You lot force me to attempt to force a debate People shouldn't have to censor themselves or be afraid to admit who they are. True, true. Yet people still do, eh? It's their personal choice to be a lesbian, bisexual or gay. Hmm, is it really a choice you make though? Come on! Questions! Debate! :p
Mara 29 Posted November 19, 2005 This is a poll Beeurd..if you want a discussion, maybe it should be elsewhere.
Ana 15 Posted November 19, 2005 People shouldn't have to censor themselves or be afraid to admit who they are. True, true. Yet people still do, eh? Still what? Have to censor themselves in order to keep from being beaten and killed? Be afraid to admit who they are because some people want to hurt them for being themselves? Yes they do. GI_Admiral 2 Posted November 19, 2005 Basically Beeurd wants us to debate this: Nature vs Nurture. Are you born gay/lesbian/bi or do you choose to be. Debate! :p
GI_Admiral 2 Posted November 19, 2005 Ladies first! :p
Princess 35 Posted November 19, 2005 Ok GI, I'll bite. But I take nature. During fetal development there are certain times that there are spikes of hormones sent to the fetus for sexual development. The fetus starts out a female but spikes of testosterone program the body to be male. If I remember correctly (I've got notes from anatomy and physiology someplace around here) these happen at 2 months, 5 months and 8 months. If any of these spikes are weakend or missing in a male, especially when the brain is being "wired" the brain will think more like a female and be "programmed" to be attracted to males. In a female, if you get some extra testosterone then your brain is "wired" like a male and you are attracted to other females.
Mara 29 Posted November 19, 2005 Yeah, you don't just choose to be gay. It's something deeply unconscious. Like other things out there.
Andy 60 Posted November 19, 2005 bah, Prin and her science! :p
Uncle Du 22 Posted November 20, 2005 (edited) She blinded you with science eh Beeurd? I think some people do choose to be that way, but like Prin said, it's more than likely hard-wired in to a persons psychi...or however you spell it. :p Edited November 20, 2005 by Du(SW)
GI_Admiral 2 Posted November 20, 2005 lol Prin you make it sound like Im a trap or something There are arguments for both sides, both seemingly pretty valid.
Uncle Du 22 Posted November 20, 2005 Which further validates my theory that no one is right about anything. Everything we believe in is a lie, but it's not.
GI_Admiral 2 Posted November 20, 2005 Or the argument that, "You can't prove anything to be completely true/false"
