Ender 8 Posted September 22, 2004 Well, it's not really mine, but I'm a part of it. This site is kind of a collaborative effort. There's a bigger Spindle, which actually travels and is led by Brian and Nik's older brothers, then there's the smaller Spindle, which is us. All the songs are played by both groups. We really do it just for fun, but traveling Spindle is really into it. The only song that we play on this player is Kings of Emotion. So check out the MP3 link at the bottom and enjoy. John Morris: Lead Vocals Andrew Tripp: Lead guitar, backing vocals Nik Rebholz- Rhythm guitar, backing vocals Brian Leaton- Bass Evan Baston- Drums http://www.spindlefamily.com/mp3Player.html

Ender 8 Posted September 23, 2004 (edited) lyrics = seriously sucky. We know, but dont care. Blame it on Grant, he wrote most of them. I wrote Kings of Emotion though... And yes, GI, I'm Andrew Tripp. I have all the songs played by us on a CD... Sean was supposed to upload them... *glare* Edited September 23, 2004 by Ender
Pandora 77 Posted September 23, 2004 Being at school, I'll have to go to the site later. (School system is a bunch of Nazis). Procrastination seems to be prevalent among new bands. The one I'm photographer/webmaster for still hasn't finished their CD, and I've been waiting for months.

Mickey 1 Posted September 28, 2004 A few friends and I are starting a band. unfortunately only one of us knows how to play an instrument, bloody good guitarist. But with a name like "Free Beer" I think our advertising will pull in plenty of fans. ;)
Chickenman 9 Posted September 28, 2004 My friend plays bass and drums. If I clean my room, I can get a guitar and lessons. (That doesn't mean I'm gonna be good though) And I've been writing some serious songs. Who knows?
Mickey 1 Posted September 29, 2004 start with the piano if you haven't already. That's my advice, I got an electric guitar before I ever touched a piano, now its like having to work backwards, because piano provides a solid ground for learning music. Electric keyboard is fun too. I want to make Free Beer sort of a New Wave band, but my friends are stuck on poppy punk music. We'll see what happens, maybe Bozeman will regroup and join Free Beer and then we will be The Bozeman Free Beer. At least that's the name I'm going for. I'm gonna go learn the trumpet now. Roethlisberger 0 Posted September 29, 2004 My band plays anything. We do covers. That's it, but if we chose a genre we'd do Blues Rock, in the vein of Derek and the Dominos (Double lead guitar, bass, synthesizer, drums)
Ender 8 Posted September 29, 2004 Bah... covers. We only do them when people request it. I personally like playing original songs...
Chickenman 9 Posted September 29, 2004 I would too...if I wrote my songs and could set them to music...and could play.
