Oh. I really suck at social situations. But that's cause I'm always ignored and never get invited. But from your myspace it seemed that you had alot of friends.

Oh, and they really aren't friends with everyone. Most are probably fake

I have 52 friends on myspace. That's insanely low compared to my other friends. Most have over a 100. 12 of which are online friends I'll never meet in my life (no offense to you guys). 2 are bands. 15 or so I hardly ever talk to. So 23 friends or so. After subtracting all of those. And those 23 constantly ignore me, so you know. And I have a slightly harder time with social situations than the average shy person, because I have a ewoking disorder.

And yes, they really are friends with everyone. They know everyone. They really ewoking do. And I ewoking hate them for it.

I was merely replying to when she said that "from my myspace, it seemed like I had a lot of friends." It's not just myspace in which I have no friends. Amazingly, it's in real life too. Myspace was a freaking example. You think I'm depressed because of Myspace? Get real.

I know, I know. That's what everyone tells me. But it's just so pathetic wandering down the halls with everyone talking with their friends, and me with no one. Or in class, how everyone is always talking with each other...except me. Or just...I hate it.

I had that in high school too. You're not the only one.

It happens.

I got over it.

Alex, it might be best if you shut up.

And Chicken, I know how you feel.

Looks like another person is in stage 2. But seriously though, I used to suck at social situations, but then I just adopted a "ewok it" attitude to it all and it makes me much more comfortable in public.

Not everyone can do that...I've spent the entire year trying to get that attitude..

I've tried that and other things, and I've gotten no where.

Bad furday

I'm semi ok to horrible in social situations. It all depends on if I know what's going on around me ( usually no :p ) and how attentive I am. I don't talk...I listen, and then if I have to i say something. However, I agree...it's no fun seeing everyone with everyone else, as you walk away all by yourself. I've been there hundreds of times.

Chin up Chicken, find something that you'd like to do instead and pour your anger into it ( like drawing..or painting...or in your case, wrestling) and see what happens. :)

You will feel relaxed afterwards.

indeedy. i never had a lot of friends in high school, and now that i'm in college i have even fewer due to people leaving town and me not hanging with the younger crowd anymore. it doesn't really bother me though. i always had a book or something.

Problem is, I don't really enjoy anything anymore. Nothing really brings me joy lately. I'm not good at anything, I don't enjoy things I used to anymore (such as wrestling and writing). I wish I could pour myself into something, but there's nothing to pour into.

JM unpopular :O! :p

Keep trying things with an open mind and you're bound to find something enjoyable, whether its to just sit around watching tv :p or to go take 500000 kilometer hikes :p

When I was at high school I was the same. I just ended up going on the computers all day, and found friends in the form of the nerds that sat in the library actually studying during breaks.

And I always sucked at social situations. Except when I was 3, apparently: according to my mum I'd never shut up....dunno what happened there.

I know how you feel Chicken, and from talking to people i've come to realize that it happens more often then we realize. It sucks the whole time you're going through it, but when it's over it makes you appreciate everything more.

I've been feeling the same way lately. Haven't been able to write, paint, or to sleep...not even play my beloved video games! I can count my RL friends on the fingers of one hand, and i don't mean that figuratively: Ed, Lindsay, Phil. And i only see them in school one period a day.

But here's something i learned the hard way, so that hopefully you won't have to:

People see you the way you see yourself. So keep the chin up, keep on walking, and eventually they'll have no choice but to notice. And even when everything gets rough, you still have Lucy.

Don't worry kiddos. You'll look back on it and laugh one day.

But will that laugh be a nervous one?

or to go take 500000 kilometer hikes

I prefer 500000 Kill-O-Meter hikes...

I-Am-Going-To-Hell

But seriously I was harrassed right through my first three years, many tears and a lot of bad blood, most of it spilled on the assphault outside, so I can image what you're going through, take beeurds advice, SEEK THEE OUT THE NERDS!
