I go to USD, not USC. USC is about twelve times larger and in LA, not San Diego.

Yeah. ewok. I need to figure out what I want to do when I graduate. Grad school's tempting but scary. Work is tempting but scary. I have no idea which major I'm going to concentrate on, or what I want to do with my life, or... anything, really.

I say again: underachieving is so much easier. It lets you find a job to pay the bills, and just maybe you stumble upon something that makes you happy enough to learn to do it better.

I just went with a major to make sure I would have nothing to do when I graduated. :p

Or to make sure I would have more possibilities.. on the other hand.

At least I'm not in a van down by the river, yet. :p

As for leaving home.. It'll get better. I was dreading living at school, also.. but after a month or two, I got used to it. And, really, I preferred it to living at my parents' house.

And let's just stop everyone right there before saying anything bad about the French or any other nationality for that matter. I can see this getting ugly, lol.

I didn't mean for it that way, lol....

It's just this guy on this show I'm doing. He's SO hard to understand.

I know you didn't mean it like that and you're fine to say such things but I've seen comments be made like that before and then people will see it and reply with comments like "Yeah, stupid French" "Frechies suck!" "French people are idiots and should talk American" ...crap like that. Then others take offense and then it turns into a flame war. I should know, I put down a few. Now I'm just stopping it before it starts. ;)

Aye, though, he was in Paris, so he was allowed an accent. ;)

Just hard to understand. :p

Oh, well, I'm done with that now.

Can I complain about Rachael Ray now? :p

Yay.

Ugh, she's so annoying.. she talks way too much.. she repeats herself.. she squeaks when she talks... I hate her! :p

You know, there was something in tabloid about her husband leaving her, and, if I was him, I'd leave her too.

Me too. I never go more than 100 on the motorway. :p

Meh, I usually go at 90 and they're all flying past me. :p

Everybody speeds on the motorway.

The limit is 70 mph, if anyone was wondering. lol

Miles are part of the system of measurements known as "English." Like Ounce, pound, etc. Did you think they picked English because it just sounded cool? :p

And as for cars that don't drive fast....

If you are in the market for one, do not under any circumstances allow yourselves to be sucked into a Focus. My first car was a Focus 3door, and it was cute, but it broke. A lot. And when you mash the gas peddle, it litterally thinks about it before it accelerates. And then when it does, it sounds like it's being powered by a damn gerbil in a wheel. If you manage to get it up over 70mph, it handles really really really crappy. I got it over 100 once. Not only did it damn-near bury the needle, but I thought the wheels were going to fly off and some hunter would find my wreckage in the woods somewhere.

Or you could be like me, and walk/take public transport everywhere, occasionally going upstate and borrowing my friend's 1985 Jaguar XJS for some speeding along twisty turny roads.

And for those of us who don't live in a large city with prompt and efficient transportation, that is... zero help. Yeah, if San Diego public transport actually went where I wanted to go, and ran on time, and was convenient, I'd take it. But it's not, so I don't.

I thought it was called "Imperial". :p

Smart people use Metric. It rules.

True. We should all move to the UK.

Uhh, I wouldn't move here if you want efficient public transport... Unless you plan on living in London, which is one of the world's most expensive cities to live in... lol

Second most expensive, to be precise. And yeah, it's only in London, not the rest of England... I dunno, do they have public transportation in Dublin?
