Yeah, I've used every bit of creative outlet I can, and exercising only helps for a very small amount of time. Maybe I just have to get used to being this type of person. I don't want to, but I guess I might have to.

Ewok you, evil work peoples who make me open at six am on Thursdays and Fridays. And put me on register the whole freaking time. I want to work coffee, dammit! Standing in one spot for four straight hours is not fun. I'm good at making coffee. I'm quick at making coffee. I'm slow at counting change out. MOVE ME!!!

Oh, and I'm already working as many hours a week as I possibly can considering my credit load. I can't work Wednesdays for six hours too. Your bad scheduling. You fix it.

Why can't my roommate close the blinds on days when she knows I don't have a class until 2:30 in the afternoon?! I just want to catch up on a little sleep, but that doesn't happen when the sun's coming in the window at seven am.

Oh, and I've tried and tried to make my webcam work. The only person with whom it allows me to connect is my friend Paige. Just her. Not my dad, not GI, not anyone else I've tried. Just her. And as much as I enjoy talking to her, I'd like to talk to other people too! Especially considering we have the same damn cameras, and the same damn comps, but she can talk to anyone she pleases.

*screams* My stupid piece of crap computer crashed AGAIN...and I just got it wiped 2 weeks ago. So as little as I got on GB before, that's going to be cut quite dramatically...sorry guys! It might be a while before I get a new computer ...I have to rely on computer labs and my friend's computer now...

Ok so now that I have vision insurance I had my yearly eye exam and ordered new glasses because my old lenses are chipped and the frames don't wanna stay up anymore. So yesterday Andersen Eye calls and I had to have the most enlightening conversation ever

AA: "Hi is Amanda there?"

P: "This is her"

AA: "This is so and so from Andersen Eye. We wanted to let you know that your glasses are here, but there's only the frames and one lens. Is that how you ordered them?"

P: "No, the left side is supposed to have a plain lens and have transitions on it."

AA: "Oh, we'll have to send them back to the lab then."

P: "Good"

What the hell am I supposed to do with a pair of glasses with only one lens in it? Honestly. Why not just give me a monacle?

my intense dislike of my physics teacher has now progressed to the strongest form of hatred i can muster. for one thing, our labs are utterly pointless and i still haven't figured out why they're required. this past one requires 50 bazillion calculations and he wants us to write them all out by hand, or risk getting points docked on our reports. this, my friends, is why calculators were invented: to save us such headaches. if i wanted my brain to hurt that much, i would smack my head on a brick wall.
