Hmmm, well RBCs are really fragile, but for altered potassium rates it could also be a case of not flushing the line enough and drawing enough waste, because then you're going to get some of the junk in the line. But like I said, RBCs are REALLY fragile little things and the slightest trauma can cause them to hemolyze

lol, we have line draw kits, so we always draw the same waste (5 cc) and we never flush before drawing :p

Just checking. I was on the floor drawing once and I watched an RN flush the line and then put my clean syringe on before drawing off any waste. When I asked him if he was gonna draw waste he stared at me and asked me how much waste I wanted. Note: This was my 2nd daw ever drawing

My bank's frickin screwing me over...again. 5 $33 overdraft fees all because of half.com. They held the amount of one of my purchases twice, which caused two transactions to bounce, and three more bounced before the bank decided to call me and tell me about it. The bank refunded two, but neither parties are willing to do anything more about it. I've been told many conflicting things by different bank representatives, and frankly, I'm more than a little pissed off now. I changed banks today.

Well, I went to start it at 5.45am yesterday and it refused to do anything, so my dad took me to work in his car and afterwards he picked me up and we went a looked at my car. The battery looked like it was dead cos it was pretty messy and the terminals were corroding. So we went and bought a new battery (bye bye ?60), spend AGES trying to fit it, because the alarm was fitted in such a way that it was making it difficult to get the battery out. But eventually we swapped them over, and the car didn't start.

Luckily, the car was booked into the garage for today anyway to have a wheel bearing looked at, so after calling my uncle to get his towing vehicle of doom, we managed to drop it off at the garage. Hopefully it isn't dead, cos I really cant' afford a new car at the moment.

Plus I do two closes a week now, and I don't fancy walking home (cold) or getting a taxi (expensive) at 1am.

Oh, and tomorrow I'm not even working at my store, I'm doing the close at the store in the town centre, which is about twice as far away from home, I reckon.
