Gah, I'm pretty sure I'll have to work Christmas Eve...luckily Kroger's closed on Chirstmas day...

I had to work Thanksgiving day, and for my regular 5.25 an hour...no holiday pay since I haven't been there long enough...that is the biggest load of sithspit I've ever heard of...

Kroger is notorious for being a sithty place to work. I applied for a job there, but turned it down when they told me I might be required to work till midnight on school nights. Jerks, lol.

I don't have to worry about that since they never schedule sackers past 10...that's the least of my worries, though...my time is instead used in trying to get out of doing the nasty trash...one of the many lovely jobs that we have to do as Kroger's bith...

They don't because it costs such a huge amount that they only give it to really super high risk kids. At my hospital, the attending writes for it, it goes to the head doctor guy, whatever he's called, who has to approve it, and then the hospital writes it off.

It's that damned expensive :|

I really don't understand why the heck I have to have car insurance...if I ever get in an accident, I'd kriffin pay for it myself! I don't need to waste my money on blasted expensive car insurance :roll:

Oh dude, don't even get me started on insurance...

You all remember my buddy with the Mini right? Welllllllll, he wrecked it this past weekend. It wasn't his fault, he got run off the road by some prick in a Cadillac. Well, it spun him across four lanes of holiday shopping traffic on the interstate, and it's a wonder that no one else hit him. He's alright, but teh Mini got jacked up. Getting to the part about insurance, when he talked to the adjustor today, they wanted to send the car to some ewoking Chevy dealer to get it fixed. My buddy basically said, "This is a Mini Cooper, BMW owns them, and it's either going to a BMW dealership, or a Mini dealership, so it gets fixed right." Well the adjustor pitched a fit, but in the end, he had to conceed, because my friend is the one paying the damn insurance every month, not them. So at least the car will get fixed right. That is, unless the Mini people look at it, and say that it's too messed up.

But on the upside, we've found out that the Mini Cooper has the highest resale value here in the states. He bought it for about 21K, and the insurance company is going to give him 24K for it! It's worth more now than when he bought it!! So that's cool.

But, we're still all upset, as we do not know what the fate of teh Mini will be.

Yea, that sounds like something an insurance company would do.

My stupid insurance people told me they'd give me a discount bcuz I took drivers ed, but a month or so after I started paying they decided that it's been more than 3 years since I took it, so they wont give me the discount now...

Maybe it's just a Michigan thing... but there's an insurance plan you can get, it's the bare minimum or something..I forget what it's called.

Prolly just simple liability, doesn't cover the cost of your car in an accident. Usually what people get if they have a beater car.
