Holidays. I'm really starting to dread this time of year. There's too much pressure and focus on buying crap for everyone, and going broke in the process. I'm sick of it. I think I'm going to convert to Judaism.

I like getting people things. I set limits on what to spend for everybody and as long as I stick to it, I come out fine.

As for the church. My new church doesn't pass collection plates, so there's so far been no pressure to give. There's just a couple boxes at the entrance that you can slip whatever into. :D

The thing about Chaunaka(sp?) is, you don't get big expensive gifts for people, you get things that are economical, that people need, like socks and junk. I can shop for socks. And junk. :p
