I only started because our shortstop wasn't there that game so she had to play third while our regular third played shortstop. I play catcher that whole game (first time I played catcher in three years and I freaked at first) My coach said I could keep on starting and playing mainly the whole game until this crap started.

course then again you being christian and being with me offers up alot of questions when it comes to things like that love....

but in truth... organized religion only (in some extreme instances) offers only limits to a humans true potential of free thought and expression... to be trully free all of our ideas must be allowed to come out even if they are wrong... but in truth what ideas that come out are said to be wrong... if they are just ideas... the problem with religion is that it says that mainstream society is wrong... (tho i tend to agree) religious people take it to the next level and want us to go back to being puritans... unfortunately for them i would die before that... taking them with me... getting upset at someone so unenlightened to pass judgement while he is teaching religion... well thats just dumb... he is suppose to be there to teach you what the bible says and from his extensive knowledge in theology( lets hope he even went to a theological school) he should be able to bypass silly notions that a man and a woman cannot live together for the sake of others being offended by it... which brings me back to my perception speech... just because the two live together (in seperate rooms doesnt mean anything...) even tho some may be offended it is not the two's fault at the lack of self control on being offended by something that is simply and utterly harmless.... its closed minded thinking and the lack of actual intellectual thought that brings people to believe blindly in things that in the end hurt them because they can be offended easily...

remember this argument love... you'll have the same one with your parents... ;)

JC's bible teacher is just a square. He uses his knowledge in theology to boss people around and make generalizations on things like the media. Not all Christians or people who are religous are puritan fanatics. Or are going to condemn you to hell if you do something that they think is unholy or whatever. The people who are "bible thumpers" are actually a minority. I know a lot of people have had bad experiences with "Christians" trying to boss you around or call you a heathen...but not all of them are like that. It's a huge mistake to say all "religious people" want the country to go back to being puritan

there are those who act that way (i know several of them...and apparently, i'm going to hell since i'm Mormon. st00pid idiots... -_-), but like others have said, not everyone who is religious is crazy nuts about it. i have very strong opinions and beliefs, but they are mine and i don't try to force them onto people. i may disagree, but it's someone else's life, and they have to deal with the consequences, not me.

that is how i feel most of the time.

there are days when my roommate gets on to me (she's a pastor's kid) and tells me that everything i say one day is wrong and i change into Bible mode. but it's not like i tell people they're wrong for their beliefs. if they believe in God, most of the time i really don't have a problem with anything.

and then we get the people like mr. weihning and they just get on my nerves completely. i think that part of it is talking so much to robert, but i'm get mad when people don't look at it from another view. things like that will get me so irritated, i can go on arguing about them all day. i'm not even one of those big debate people!

*sighs* NICU lost a baby tonight. I knew that something was wrong when I went to call the critical hemoglobin to the unit and the secretary was going to take the value instead of transferring me to the nursery that the baby was in. Felt pretty sure that the baby didn't make it when they never called requesting blood. Knew he didn't make it when we looked him up a little later and he'd been discharged. Only a day old and born 3 months early. Poor lil guy, his short life was really hard

I'm back, for no other reason than to vent. There are so many people at my school that do their very best to make my life miserable. When I get angry at them, I'm the one who is at fault and I must be put into counseling. Ok, I can take that. God knows I've been through enough stuff in my life. But, then the person I went into counselling for(I was trying to be a better boyfriend aside from dealing with my "problems" that other idiots gave me) changed her mind. He decided she didn't love me. A few weeks later, after she told me nothing would happen, she's going out with my best friend, who also said he wouldn't ask her out. And nobody cares.

So, I'm in NYC for Fleet Week. Now, this whole thing is so that Sailors and Marines can get out and show everyone in the city how cool we all are. Except, the damned ship that I'm on seems to think that making us work the whole time is how we'll show the city what we're like. I had duty yesterday, and now I have to sit around the ship until FIVE O'CLOCK TONIGHT before I get to leave. Talk about some BULL sith!! I really detest this sith. All I wanna do is get out and see the sites, and that really ain't gonna happen today.

Oh yea, and my "day off" tomorrow...well, it just so happens that we're moving teh ship to Staten Island, so my day off is out the window on Saturday.
