I have to wake up at 7 am every weekday for no good reason...

They say school...but that isn't a good reason...its a lie! :(

Ugh, waking up early. I'm an English student. I have four day weekends and nothing before 11. You'd think early mornings would be a foriegn concept to me. But no.

They calll themselves "Considerate Construction". Not starting at 7:30 in the morning they're not. Not when the whole building shakes. Not when even with the window closed, the curtains drawn and the music on the beeping and the drilling stops me from concentrating on my essay.

They want the building completed before September, so they can move next year's students into it. They're going to be building solidly until I move out.

Why the hell am I so freaking shy?!!!! I was going to ask Jenn (the girl I like) out on Valentine's Day, but since she'd be heading for Italy 2 days afterward, I figured it wouldn't be a good idea. If, by some miracle she said yes, I'd only have a day to spend with her. So today I talked to her a little, made a few jokes, but after awhile, I just couldn't come up with anything to say. Nothing. Why the hell do I get so freaking nervous around her? We're friends, it shouldn't be so hard! I was going to ask her tomorrow, but I doubt I'll be able to do it,

Grrr, it's been snowing for over 24 hours straight, I barely made it to the hospital today, I left 15 minutes earlier than I normally do to get there and it took me 20 extra minutes instead of the 15 that I'd allotted to get there. I couldn't see the lanes on the expressway because they were so snow covered that I hit rumble strips twice and now I just can't get warm! I hate Michigan!!

Today in Economics everyone got to throw darts at a stock listing posted to a tree. However, the class was big enough that it took veeeery long. All the kids in my class suck at throwing darts! I was standing around so long that the back of my neck is now sunburned and it hurtssssss...

Getting to your 8:35am class and seeing a note by the door saying that your prof is ill and to check your e-mail.

I had checked my e-mail (like I do every morning) when I woke up. No e-mail about my class.

I went to check right then at 8:30. No e-mail.

Since then, no e-mail.

Ok, when you cancel class....send an e-mail BEFORE I walk across campus in the blowing snow ....and if you say you're going to send an e-mail..send an e-mail.

Damned docs in general who don't listen to nurses! Who's with the kid all day three or four days a week? Huh? HUH?!

At least she admitted she should've listened to me to start with....that doesn't make up for waiting for a kid to turn blue-gray because the flippin' film isn't up yet...
