I really am sick of the navy...and more specifically, I hate this damned ship. I hate getting less than three hours of sleep in any given day. I hate being the person that eveyone goes to to get sith done. I HATE BEING RELIABLE!!!

Yuck, drawing the blood on peds is not fun. It took 3 of us to hold one kid down today so that we could get blood out of him . He was a strong lil bugger. And stupid nurse that thought that 5cc's of blood was too much to take from a 2 year old, so he asked for microtainer's instead and then later in the day I see a blood culture bottle from a neonate. Meh

TSL, do you have oxi clean? If so put 4 scoops of it in the laundry with a full thing of detergent and let it wash and then soak like overnight or for at least 6 hours (just leave the lid to your washer open if it works like that) and then when you get up, set the knob back to the beginning of the wash cycle and then close the lid and presto, all stains will be gone

It's mostly a preventitive measure, to keep the teeth from becoming impacted. Most people's mouths are too small to accomidate(sp?) wisdom teeth, so they're generally pulled(or broken) out. I guess all mine came in straight, but the navy still wants me to get them out, because they say, you never know if out on deployment my wisdom teeth might decide to become impacted. Idiots.

All teeth cause pain when they come in. Honestly, I believe wisdom teeth are like tonsils in the '50s...you can do without 'em, they can charge you large amounts of money to remove them, so out they come!

Course, they figured out tonsils have an important role in the immune system, so they quit yanking those all the time....imagine that. We went from everyone needing them removed to very few people actually needing them out.

Suspicious? Nah.....

I'm keeping my damned teeth unless I can be shown that doing so will truly cause me some irrevocable harm. Damned crooked dentists....

Prin: I did that with something called Biz...bleach for colors or something. I'm putting them through the wash right now, they've soaked around...oh 10 hours or something like that. If this doesn't work, I'll soak 'em in Oxyclean all night while I'm at work.

The Biz worked for about half of the stuff, so now I'm doing the other half in the Oxyclean. I'm leaving it all night and I'll wash it in the morning when I get home.... something to look forward to after my 12 hours...... :???:

Damn American censorship of movies. I'm trying to enjoy a good Ahnuld movie and they're censoring every bad word. Hell, they're censoring "ass" and "damn". I watched Dogma on a Canadian station last night and nothing was censored...and for those of you who have seen Dogma, you'll know that they drop the F-bomb ALL the time. I just want to enjoy my freakin' movie without it looking like a cheap kung-fu flick every time they try to dub over a swear. This idiotic notion of neo-conservatism has gone too far...
