This could be the random rant fo the year. I can't stand these guys that ground their daughters because someone that she was friends with happened to have his arm around her shoulder. What? Do we expect a three child family before the end of high school? Or perhaps marriage? Maybe we should ground all the dads who judge too soon on whether or not someone is a bad influence or whatever the hell they think. Interested to hear feedback.

I think her dad went as far as to disconnect the Internet and he probly sits by the phone smoking a cigar with a shotgun in his hand waiting to trace the call. Lol. Although not really funny when I think about it......

Yeah, I just found out that a guy that used to live across the street from me is going to be a dad to twins, so I'm now being warned to not let any guy in the lab look at me funny, because who knows, I may get knocked up. Silly parents.

And damn, I may have fried the HD on my computer. Get all the other parts and I had the HD handed to me out of my old computer and I may have shocked it. Damn. Plus we can't find our windows XP disk, I can't access my documents when we have the old HD hooked up to this computer so I can't save my pictures. ARG!

Hahaha yeah...if im a parent I hope im not that strict.

But you have to see where they're coming from. YOu're probably the best thing thats happened to them (and for some of us that pretty sad j/k) and so you want everything to be perfect for them and so if you see a scenario no matter how unlikely you're tempted to say no.

yeah, i know that, but many parents fail to realize they have to let their kids make their own mistakes and learn things for themselves, no matter how painful it may be to the parents who have already been there, done that.

Argh!!

For my political science major, I have to take POLS 2212: State and Local Government. But because of my circumstances, I can't take it before 5PM. Well, this semester, they offered it with the professor I want, but in the period before I could take it. So, that pissed me off.

I sent an email to the head of the department asking him to offer my classes in the evenings. I never got a reply. That pissed me off.

Well, apparently he got my email, though. They offered another section of the class in the evenings. But they didn't tell me. That pissed me off.

But I found out about it in time to change my schedule. However, it's on Mondays and Wednesdays. My other classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays. So, I can't take it. That pisses me off.

and of course you enjoy doing it, too. my uncle's threatened to do that. or sharpen his knives. i'm so glad i'm not his daughter. but then, my dad's the Bishop, so i don't know if that's any better, lol.
