TSL, the hospital I work for makes you do both arms to prevent a faulty first negative. I had a co-worker who tested positive that way.

Prin, you need to get that re-checked if they gave you a negative at first. You shouldn't have a reaction at all to it, if it's negative. Have you had anyone take a look at it?

It's not considered positive unless the raised area is over a certain diameter. It is quite common to have a small reaction :)

It's true .

Some people even have huge reactions, but don't really have TB upon further investigation. They're just allergic to the test.

My friend had that bad allergic reaction thing to the pre-TB jab. They refused to give her the TB jab afterwards, which upset her because she'd wanted to go into medicine, and you can't be a doctor without having the full accourtrement of inoculations.
