Andy 60 Posted December 29, 2007 Hardly. I would not have given it an A+ if it did not warrant one. Most direct-to-DVD flicks like those terrible Disney sequels definately warrant bad grades. They fail. Futurama is another matter altogether. Tell me B, did you watch or even like the show? If not, or even if you did, I would suggest saving your comments until AFTER watching it and judging it yourself. I didn't see that before. I wasn't saying Futurama was bad, I was commenting on the fact that they have had to go straight to DVD - that fate should be reserved exclusively for bad Disney sequels. You phail. You fail at speelign.
Mara 29 Posted January 2, 2008 Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Oh... Somewhere between B and B+. I think it was better than the second, but not better than the original. The ending was fairly satisfying (I don't think it leads to another sequel at all), and the fight scenes/swordplay was better than the second. However, there was some silly cheese like with Jack's "doubles".... so that's probably why it might drop from B+.
Drake 53 Posted January 2, 2008 Aliens versus Predator: Requiem - A+++ I sat through the entire movie with a grin on my face. After seeing AVP:R, I now have an even greater love for the Predators. The Preds from the original two movies were just bored and decided to hunt some humans for sport. The Preds in AVP were the rookies...there for a right of passage. In this movie, though, the Pred anti-hero was a veteran. He was there for the sole reason to hunt the Predalien hybrid, stop the infestation of Aliens on Earth and he did a pretty damn good job at doing it. When the Pred was in the crashed ship at the start of the movie, my girlfriend asked me why he would take the weapons from the dead Pred when he should have brought his own. To which I replied, "Oh, he brought his own. He just needs more." I also kind of found it funny how they introduced a character, went into their background and life a bit, then killed them off brutally. The best was when the girl got pinned up on the wall by the Predator's spinning blade disc boomerang thingies. I lol'd. :D
Princess 35 Posted January 3, 2008 Sweeny Todd The Demon Barber of Fleet Street - B So my friends and mainly only went and saw it because of the Johnny Depp-ness of the movie. And the beginning was pretty good, however, I thought some of the songs were a little cheesy. I mean "I feeeeeeeeeeeel you Johanna!" How many times can you listen to that? That and I just ended up getting grossed out and I'm posting this right now because I'm having a little trouble sleeping after seeing it. I need a happy movie now. But on the plus side, Johnny Depp can belt out a song
Ayingel 24 Posted January 4, 2008 Enchanted: A it made me laugh...very reminiscent of all the old disney movies...what with the singing and whatnot.

Ayingel 24 Posted January 24, 2008 Cloverfield: A++ omg it was an amazing movie! super intense...only issue i had was the camera moving around so much. it was a little depressing...but it wasn't anything i couldn't handle >.< i will say this, however to anyone who wants to see it....watch the water at the end of the movie...by the boat...it makes the rest of the movie make sense. Sweeny Todd: A pretty good movie...tho, going from dark to light really sucked halfway through. and now, since the play is on tour, i'll have to catch it when it hits minneapolis... Jake Durron 23 Posted May 22, 2008 yeah, Sweeny Todd is coming here in February and i want to go see it so bad. but alas, poor newlyweds have no money. we did go see Phantom last week, though. that was teh awesome! Sweeny Todd the Musical is a lot more tongue in cheek than the movie, the movie has plenty of farce, don't get me wrong but like the scene where Todd and Lovett are singing a little priest is much more serious or foreboding in the movie than it is in the musical. Sticks 1 Posted May 25, 2008 Sweeny Todd The Demon Barber of Fleet Street - B So my friends and mainly only went and saw it because of the Johnny Depp-ness of the movie. But on the plus side, Johnny Depp can belt out a song Aw, man, are you kidding me? A+++!!! Hehe, it was great enough for my sick and twisted mind...and I'm a sucker for musicals. Plus, the Johanna song...and reprise...and other reprises...were sweet! Don't tell anyone I said that, or I'll have to kill you. On a new note: Prince Caspian - B...not as good as the first, but Caspian is gorgeous! So he makes up for it Indiana Jones - B+..the alien thing was a little much I think...but it still kicked ass!
