I want a wireless router so I can use the internet with a wireless connection on my own computer, instead of using/sharing my family's computer with dial-up. Mickey 1 Posted May 27, 2006 (edited) I got a laptop so I can play World of Warcraft between classess up on campus ... On the plus I have a wireles router, that's not passowrd protected (the software quits before that step for Mac OS, but I can't access my other computers on the network. I have to direct link them and then have each computer's admin password to transfer files. So that's a nice thing to know, although it would be nice if I could transfer files with the wirelss network once in a while. Scratch that, I did manage to run a apple talk connection through the router, but you still need an admin's password to mount, and by turning of apple talk, or someone using a PC would be unable to access my comps.
