Andy 60 Posted April 29, 2009 This is the stupidest nitpick of all time, but I believe the CGI talking gecko in question has an Australian accent. I checked it out... That's a London accent; if you want to be specific: Cockney. :p
Uncle Du 22 Posted April 29, 2009 I concede to your superior internet search skills. ;)
Mara 29 Posted April 29, 2009 Meh, I hope that gecko gets run over by a car not insured by Geico. :p
Drake 53 Posted April 29, 2009 I would rather have the gecko than those damned annoying cavemen commercials.
Uncle Du 22 Posted April 29, 2009 I like the commercials with the little stack of cash. I think they named it "Kash". I like it for the music. ;)
Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted April 29, 2009 ugh. those commercials creep me out. I think about strip clubs for some reason... i think that reason might have something to do with your gender and orientation. :p
Uncle Du 22 Posted April 29, 2009 Hey, it's the name, really! Destiny is apparently a REALLY popular stage name. :p
Chickenman 9 Posted April 29, 2009 LOL. I think about strip clubs for some reason... Yeah, my next line was going to be "and then I tell her to keep dancing" or something, but decided against it. Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted April 30, 2009 if only there were some sort of technology that would allow the two of us to reach a happy medium. i take some of the curliness and you get some of the straightness. :p
Chickenman 9 Posted April 30, 2009 We could call them straighteners. Or curling irons. :p
Bad furday 57 Posted April 30, 2009 1. Jm, Chicken....what if we spliced your genes together? 2. Hey..my hair looks like that! I need a hair cut badly 3. Jew-fro....I'm dying over here. 4. Chickenman 9 Posted April 30, 2009 1. Sounds risky and unnecessary. Let's get to work. 2. I'm leaving in 30 minutes for the Great Hair Slaughter of 09. 3. Yes, I thought it was a mildy borderline possibly creative name for it until I realized my friends had stolen it from the 40 Year Old Virgin. 4. I love that shirt so. Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted April 30, 2009 We could call them straighteners. Or curling irons. i dunno how well hair straighteners work for you, but the only way curling irons work for me is if they are wielded by a professional hairstylist backed up with 6 different kinds of hairspray. :p
Chickenman 9 Posted April 30, 2009 They straighten my hair, but make them kind of stick out kind of flatly. My sister said I had the wrong kind of hairstyle for it. So I went to my hairdresser and asked her to kind of cut it in a way that would be more conductive to what I was going for. She talked me out of it, saying that if she did that, then my hair would look different when I decided to let it curl. (I should have answered that I never intend to curl it, ever, but I just backed down because I'm scared of confrontation. ) Kinda like how she talked me out of something this visit. I got a pretty massive haircut, but then when I asked for maybe a little more, she said that it looked bigger than it actually was from her fluffing it the entire visit, and that I'll see the difference later. I'm not good with confrontation. :p
Uncle Du 22 Posted April 30, 2009 So what's the new do look like?!
Chickenman 9 Posted April 30, 2009 At the moment, it's a much smaller puffball. I really have to wait for the hair to settle down to see what it really looks like. And then next time I'm going to get it even shorter. I think this is all part of some plan to weasel more money out of me. :p
