Ana 15 Posted April 27, 2006 It's the hair. The fluffy white-person fro. Uberfluffy. :p

Ender 8 Posted April 27, 2006 Hey, we're two dashing men who get all the ladies. Maybe you other people could take lessons from us. ;)
Ayingel 24 Posted April 27, 2006 I figured I'd get some pictures of what I've been doing for the past two months on here. We're putting on Annie get Your Gun, so I've been busy with all of that...we're finally performing it this weekend actually! My townsperson costume. Pretty plain, but it's nicer than a lot of the other ones...there are some advantages to being short! I wear this dress for three songs...its not very comfortable to dance in either...but at least I can move in it...but it's so cool! We do a traditional Sioux dance and tribal chant! My favourite dress for the musical! I get to do flips and lifts in this one!!! I hate the make up for this one tho...that was last night...and we didn't have very good lighting for doing make-up (which Libby and I do for three hours before every show). Ender 8 Posted April 27, 2006 A friend of mine was just in a production of Annie Get Your Gun... at school, though, we just finished Footloose. It was so much fun...
Chickenman 9 Posted April 27, 2006 I would love to act in a play, except for the whole "I'm in front of people" thing.
Bad furday 57 Posted April 28, 2006 (edited) I'd have no problem acting if I could play parts that featured a full face mask... So....if anyone needs someone to play a robot...or a stormtrooper... Though technically...I think it would be cool to wear costumes like the robotic corrections officers in THX 1138... "Don't be afraid. We're only trying to help you!" *stab with electro-pike* Edited April 28, 2006 by Bad furday
GI_Admiral 2 Posted April 28, 2006 Acting would be cool, but like Furday and Chicken, only behind a mask if at all :p
Ayingel 24 Posted April 28, 2006 well, we apply about two pounds of stage make-up to each person before they go on stage, so it can look like you're wearing a mask...We did make a whole person green (and gave them a prothstetic nose) for children's theatre a few years ago...that was pretty cool... Neil1 0 Posted April 28, 2006 I was in a play once. I was in Romeo and Juliet! I was the apothecary. But I still got to kiss Juliet, the minx! Moustache. :(
Ana 15 Posted April 29, 2006 I stopped acting because I couldn't stand the high school drama teacher. And in all the extracurriculars I got sick of being cast as a guy.

We did "Working" earlier this year, which was amazing, but the Mexican guy who was supposed to play Roberto quit, so we took my friend Ben Rosen, who is a ridiculously pale Jewish kid with a big red fro, and we darkened his skin so he looked Mexican, and we straightened his hair, dyed it black, and pulled it back into a ponytail. His own mother didn't recognize him. The whole process took us about 4 hours each time.
