Barnes and Noble are useless in my one and only experience of them.

When I was in Florida, Traitor was released, and I phoned around about 5 bookshops to find it, and nobody did. Two of those stores where Barnes & Noble.

I eventually tracked it down at a Waldenbooks :)

Actually, preordering is lazier... considering you have the book shipped to your house so you DON'T have to go to the store.... hee hee, I win!

Yeah, much lazier :D

Don't even have to leave my desk. Except to pick it up with the mail, of course.

Not really. You have to DRIVE to the bookstore. And unless Canada is teeming with oil wells, which I know it's not, you're better off just staying home, lol.

Well since we were SO far off topic, I decided to split this into it's own topic.

Good idea. There is a topic in the Archives that is the most off-topic post I've ever seen...

*realises he's off-topic*

I go to Barnes&Nobles or Borders to buy all my NJO and other books. I never pre-order.

Bookstore or Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart is usually cheaper, I can get hardcovers for $17 there.

I like to order books online that I can't find in the stores, otherwise I like to buy them at a store. The whole thing with Wal-Mart is not only are the books cheaper, but the Wal-Mart neat me usually puts the books out early.

Good thing I got Reunion when I was home. The WalMart at school STILL doesn't have it out...

I always get mine from the little bookstore down the street... nice place. Pretty small sci-fi section, but I'm trying to change that.

Bad furday

I prefer online ordering, as I don't have to deal with any human contact and I can be incredibly lazy at the same time.

Book store..

Online requires credit cards...and my parents don't let me play around with theirs when I'm online :p
