*goes out onto the balcony and looks at the morning traffic*

When you jump, you must be completly open to the Force. You must be aware of every little thing around you...from a building...to a speeder...to even a hawkbat.

*trails off about his first collision with one of those*

*looks out the window at them, and remembers her "skydiving" experience, and how much it almost cost her....*

*notices that Link is 1000 feet below him and is continuing to drop*

*rImages flash in her mind: the fall, a speeder coming at them, them gliding towards a building, an unconcious Ewing in her arms, hanging on a flagpole hundreds of meters above the ground, a breaking transparasteel window, a "borrowed speeder"*

*walks into her apartment and collapses on the bed*

*starts slowing his descent and spots Link waving at him from several hundred feet below*

*waves back but then picks up several stray thoughts and looses concentration*

Oh stang...

*gets nailed by an oncoming speeder...the speeder blows apart and crashes into a nearby building*

*goes unconcious, plumits past a stunned Link and falls down into the depths of the city...*

*Runs to the window and reaches out with the Force to stop his plummet*

*comes to in the eerie darkness*

*tries to stand but somehow can't*

*remembers that he's falling*

Oh yeah...

*starts to slow but it's already too late...the ground is too close*

*slams into the duracrete ground with a bone-shattering impact that causes the nearby buildigs to vibrate slightly*

*Buries her face in her hands*

*feels Drake's pain in the Force and runs down to help him* He sure better be glad that I have a bacta tank laying around.

*panics and then feels a sudden calm and walks over to him* Drake don't do it... *cradles his head, waiting on someone to help* Hang in there...

*looks up at her groggily*

*gently strokes his face* You're on the ground... Don't move ok? You'll only make it worse

*sees Princess coming from the edge of his vision with a bacta tank*

*shakes it off and stands up*

*stands up, ready to catch an unsteady Drake* Oh lord... I'm Link... um... friend?

*backs away from her*

*sees Link's lightsaber*

*jumps back and ignites his own*
