Pandora 77 Posted January 1, 2012 Okay, riddle me this. My in-laws are not big drinkers. They can inexplicably manage to milk a (small) bottle of tequila for three years. Why then is there literally GALLONS of wine in their fridge? Freaking hoarders. However, said freaking hoarders are extremely picky about their wine (they only like really, really sweet wine), the happy side effect of which is, they'll open a bottle, decide they don't like it and somehow rope Daniel and I into a discussion about their inventory (which, though large is rather narrow) and then con us into tasting one that's open they don't like. Like tonight. To be fair, that was really crappy wine.... I don't understand these people. I think I have married into a family of aliens.

Pandora 77 Posted January 1, 2012 12 minutes left for me. Screw it. I've got a glass of that yummy vodka.. this year has both sucked and blown and I refuse to face 2012 totally sober.
Pandora 77 Posted January 1, 2012 (edited) What the eff???? My glass literally just spontaneously broke in half and spilled all my vodka. How the freak does that happen?!?! This is not a good sign. 2012 is already on my sith list.... Edited January 1, 2012 by Pandora
Ayingel 24 Posted January 1, 2012 Was it fresh out of the dishwasher?
Pandora 77 Posted January 1, 2012 No, actually. And the vodka was room temp. It was, however, akwardly stacked inside a larger glass, so I may have stressed a weak point when I pulled it out.
Pandora 77 Posted January 2, 2012 Gotta clean today. This should be fun with my super sore back. But Daniel is some kinda nasty sick and I DO NOT want it. I can't stand the smell of a house when there's someone sick in it. Blech. :puke:

Pandora 77 Posted January 4, 2012 (edited) I miss yoga. I think it helped me keep this depression at bay. *grabs a big beer at the bar* You know, I'm sure there will come a time when I eat ramen noodles because I'm feeling nostalgic about those days when I didn't have a kitchen. But as it is, I'm just eat Ramen because it's better for me (marginally) than the last couple pieces of Christmas fudge. Pandora 77 Posted January 4, 2012 It'll have to be at midnight. I made my schedule for the spring today. Brutal.
Pandora 77 Posted January 4, 2012 Twenty hours in the lab, six to ten hours for my assistantship, and six hours of classes per week, not to mention meetings and studying and extra research projects. But in the end, I would rather be doing it than selling make up again. Besides, it has been a very rough week or two without the structure and demands of school.
