Pandora 77 Posted October 27, 2012 *Fixes a fresh pot of coffee, adds some amaretto liqueur, and sits next to Furday. Slides him a fresh mug* Try it now. Party last night, babysitting my godson all day today, now I have to clean. So exhausted. I do not want to move. *guzzles spiked coffee*

James the Defender 7 Posted November 6, 2012 I remember studying. Caity and I had a tiff when we were dating b/c I was just so stressed from school. Whew, finally finished the two novels I'd been working on for YEARS. Endings felt rushed b/c I wanted to get them finished. Working on my fourth novel-length work and will prolly start my fifth. I enjoy writing. I don't have enough money for beer, so I'll just drink here. *orders a Lomin*
Pandora 77 Posted November 13, 2012 *enjoys a BE* Ahh. I actually crossed everything off of my to-do list today. So this is what that feels like. .... now I get to go home and tackle another to-do list.
Uncle Du 22 Posted November 26, 2012 I had to take the day off of work today. Being this awesome can be exhausting! ;)
Bad furday 57 Posted November 26, 2012 You're going to have to speak up. I can't hear you over the sound of your awesomeness. :p
Bad furday 57 Posted November 27, 2012 THAT'S MUCH BETTER! HOW HAVE YOU BEEN, UNCLE? :p
Uncle Du 22 Posted November 27, 2012 Haha! Been doin' pretty good lately! Life seems to be on the up and up for me, so that's cool.
Bad furday 57 Posted November 27, 2012 Very good! Retail has taken over most of my time, what with the holidays and sales and all. Almost clear of it- then I can go back to these art projects that I've been putting on the To Do list.
Uncle Du 22 Posted November 27, 2012 I hear ya there man! I dunno how you retail folks do it. My roomie and my best friend have been doing it for years. More power to you guys!
Bad furday 57 Posted November 27, 2012 I don't know either....especially when our store makes dumb scheduling mistakes...like having 4 trucks to unload in 4 continuous nights, then wonder why we're putting everything on the floor (because there's no room, and no one during the day works on it). :(
Uncle Du 22 Posted November 27, 2012 That sounds very familiar. It's like the people writing these schedules have never actually worked in retail, lol.
Bad furday 57 Posted November 27, 2012 That's our theory as well. Except that there's also a geek in headquarters doing the scheduling of every Satuday and Sunday in December , who's saying to himself "These ewokers picked on me in highschool...I'll make it so they can't watch their precious football games! I'll show them!" We're hoping that's the case. Far more entertaining than an idiot at the scheduling department. :p
Pandora 77 Posted November 28, 2012 I so do not miss retail. At all. Unfortunately, the downside to Daniel's new job is he manages movie theaters so he works every single holiday, including Thanksgiving and Christmas day.
Uncle Du 22 Posted November 28, 2012 You know, I really wanted to see Les Miserables on Christmas day, but I will not, even though my choice will have no effect on those in the movie theater business.
Pandora 77 Posted November 28, 2012 Nope, not in the slightest, but I appreciate the sentiment. Christmas and Thanksgiving are their busiest days of the year. Insane, really.
Uncle Du 22 Posted November 28, 2012 It's sad. I've never had a serious urge to go to the movie theater on either of those holidays. :p
Pandora 77 Posted November 28, 2012 Me neither. Ah neuroscience class. I love it. I just found out I shouldn't have taken all that cough medicine with my prescription. Oops. No wonder I got so loopy... Oh well.
