Drake 53 Posted November 20, 2011 I believe that ghosts are real. They just aren't what most people want to think they are. See, when someone dies, they go one of two places and neither of them are here. What many think are the spirits of other people are likely demonic spirits trying to deceive the living. It's the same for people who think their deceased loved ones are haunting their house. Just hit it with some constant, solid prayer and it should clear up. TheUnknown 39 Posted November 21, 2011 Well, I'm not currently working on a Ph.D. (but I'm working on an MA and plan to apply to the Ph.D. program this year), nor is my field (political science) considered part of the humanities (but does sometimes get lumped in with them when universities organize their colleges. My particular flavor of psychology is more often lumped in with the public health or counseling department (which is actually separate from psychology, oddly enough). Add a dash of knee pain making me wish I had crutches. Rain. Cold. Mix half-assedly... Stick it in front of an auditorium of undergrads. Hooboy. What a day this is going to be. Luckily I have the illness going for me, and my major professor has a newborn at home, so he won't want me there risking getting him sick unless I am absolutely needed. I am totally crashing early.
