Uncle Du 22 Posted October 24, 2006 Yeah the new head of McDonalds UK doesn't like the idea of them. Hmm, maybe he wants to keep the majority of Brits from getting fat. Slightly amusing: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/glasgo...est/6079974.stm hehe That's friggin hilarious, I've been in that exercise before. That could have been my buddies ship, he's over there right now, and just left Faslane.
Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted October 24, 2006 way to scare everybody on the other ship, lol
Uncle Du 22 Posted October 24, 2006 The Navy is all puff and wind about that, they would never open fire on an unarmed ship.
Link 3 Posted October 25, 2006 They'd be turned into grass the instant they fired. Good God, we can't even fire on an enemy without permission even when they're pumping us with lead as we're asking.
Uncle Du 22 Posted October 25, 2006 Yea, that's one of the reasons the bombing of the Cole happened the way it did. When they train us, they tell us that if a small craft gets within a certain distance of the ship, that we have batteries release authorization, but in the next sentance, they tell us to wait until the command duty officer gives us permission. Not to mention that if said small craft did breach that perimeter, and it was going 30 knots, it would be at the ship in less than 5 seconds. Definitely not enough time to deter anything. It's ridiculous. I'd shoot first and take the court martial. Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted October 25, 2006 indeed. i'd say in certain situations, shooting first and asking questions later would be justifiable.

Ana 15 Posted November 2, 2006 Haha... that's great. I'm so glad people worry about these things, and spend money doing experiments on them. I'd love to read a scientific writeup of that, trying to sound professional.
Neil1 0 Posted November 2, 2006 Diameter of a soda can? Isn't it worth it? Wait... I just realised - a soda can isn't that big. :s
Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted November 2, 2006 for a diameter of a reproductive organ, that's pretty big, though. still, the weight of all the condoms would probably rip it off. :p

Uncle Du 22 Posted November 3, 2006 The diameter of a soda is pretty big in relation to the average size of a penis. I might be guessing here, but most women wouldn't really want that any way...well, I can speak for only one woman, but you get the idea. :p
