Insyana 0 Posted January 16, 2006 Nano-based armor Most deffinately cool Eek. Sounds like another waste of gold. Unless they make Nanotech headgear. Sharon, like Arafat, stood in the way of peace. Too bad his party are just as right wing as him.
Tsl 7 Posted January 16, 2006 Indeed he did. I didn't like the cut of his jib, but now that he's out, I just hope it doesn't spark increased violence. Nobody over there seems to need much of an excuse to kill people.

Ender 8 Posted January 16, 2006 Hey, the Palestinians had their chance. They didn't take it. It's not the Israeli's fault that the Palestinians were too dumb to take the best offer.
Tsl 7 Posted January 16, 2006 Nah, neither side has it right. They'll never get it straightened out either, because there's really no fair way to give them both what they want to be satisfied. That's what happens when you take a holy city and randomly give it to somebody else. Stupid post WWII peoples... What they really need is to find a way to share the whole country, which won't happen either because they all hate each other too much.

GI_Admiral 2 Posted January 17, 2006 I agree with TSL...it wont end, or if it does not in our life time nor in the century...too much tension, and both sides cause problems adding to the conflict
Tsl 7 Posted January 17, 2006 Yeah, the Palastinians could have accepted that offer, but the violence would continue, because it didn't give them what they're really after, which is their holiest of sites. Which, of course, also happens to be Israel's holiest of sites, so they'll never give it up. It's a permanent no win situation.

Alexander 0 Posted January 19, 2006 (edited) Poll finds a majority of Americans support IMPEACHMENT if Bush wiretapped Americans' phones without a judge's approval. No one should take that poll seriously. It neither tests a significant amount of the population nor comes from an accredited poll source (ie. Gallup or Harris.) TheUnknown 39 Posted January 19, 2006 Actually, Zogby is a reputable polling source. You are right about the low number of respondents and the obvious partisan nature of the group that funded the poll does call the credibility into question. However, it is food for thought.
