Pandora 77 Posted July 29, 2002 That was a horrible day... So was the day I made the Boredom thread. Luckily, Furday came to the rescue before I could go completly sane. Boredom is boring.

Pandora 77 Posted July 29, 2002 i find it hard to get myself to step on a plane Really? Why? They're one of the safest ways to travel. Mostly cause the pilots have extensive training. If it's hijacking you're worried about, use my theory: If it's my time to go, I can't help that, but there's no reason more people have to die. That's also why I'm an organ donar. Yeah, well I'm afraid of death and I don't believe in Heaven. I like living.

I'm an organ donor, and when I'm old enough I'll give blood too. I agree with pod about hijacking too. The wqay I see it, there's no point fearing death. You've just got to acknowledge that it's gonna happen and move on. I'd have to say, if I was on a plane that was hijacked by people with knives, and they said they were going to fly it into a building, I try and organise some kind of resistance from the passengers. I'd rather control my death than be a bystander in something like that.

^Hal^ 1 Posted July 29, 2002 if you're talking September 11, for your information they did try a rebellion and lost yeah, I know. Well.. they succeded on one plane. You know the fourth plane that crashed in the middle of Pennsylvania. I heard that the passengers managed to defeat the terrorists, but the plane crashed into the ground before they could gain control.

Yeah, that's the plane that was famous for the passenger that said, "Let's roll." That would be me. ("Are you over 14" yes. "Can you lift 40 pounds?" Well over. "Would you be willing to hel pin an emergency?" I'd be the first one up.)

TheUnknown 39 Posted July 29, 2002 Don't come to North Georgia in the spring if you have allergies. The national scale for pollen in the air states that 200 points is unhealthy. It is not unusual to see North Georgia in the 1600 point range.
