Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted January 26, 2008 poor Ana. *hugs* we had a lady come in for a dobutamine stress test (dobutamine speeds up your heart) the other day and her BP bottomed out twice. within about 20 seconds her HR went from 120-something to 91 which was when i walked out of the room to check on other patients. i always miss the exciting stuff.....so they stopped the dobutamine to get her heart back to normal, pushed fluids, and then she bottomed out again. needless to say, we couldn't finish the test and had to send her straight over for a heart cath. And all the other store managers in the mall will be calling ours crying, "PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD CLOSE!!! NO ONE ELSE CAN CLOSE UNTIL YOU DO!!!!!"
