Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted November 28, 2007 Those deserve to eat pavement. i agree. but then the cops have to get involved, possibly lawyers since it's worse downtown and a lot of people wandering around are black and it's apparently racist if i hit one that jumped in front of my car, not to mention mountains of paperwork for insurance purposes. Andy 60 Posted November 28, 2007 No reason to get there 5 minutes quicker. But you can leave 5 minutes later. :p

Mara 29 Posted November 28, 2007 (edited) LMAO.. that is one ugly picture. But they don't, usually, walk in the middle of a road. they do here. most of the time don't even look to see if there's a car coming either. I hate the people who do it on a busy street in the dark with dark clothing on. No reason to get there 5 minutes quicker. But you can leave 5 minutes later. But then I'd be 5 minutes late for work. Mara 29 Posted November 29, 2007 (edited) Nice. By the time I get to my neighborhood, there's generally not people walking. But there is one couple I see.. but they are smart and wear reflective vests. Edited November 29, 2007 by Mara

Mara 29 Posted November 29, 2007 Ugh. I feel for you. Our company just got the full contract for Scripps (we used to share the account with another company)... so starting in Jan. we're gonna be super super busy. Even busier than now, and it's the busy season, lol.
Darth Marius 0 Posted November 29, 2007 Yeah my whole industry is weather based. If its hot we are slammed. If its cold we are slammed. The in between just depends on if its going up or going down, but they are pretty godd at keeping me busy with cleanings.
Pandora 77 Posted November 30, 2007 Daniel had to fill the GTO up for the first time... $45 How long has he been driving on that tank of gas?! A little over a week. But it's his toy car... for the weekends and evenings (sometimes).

Bad furday 57 Posted December 3, 2007 I've found out that the Kohl's office christmas party ( in January! ) is in the American Legion next to Kohl's. How convienent. I've been in that building multiple times, but never upstairs. If that's where it is, we'll get to use the bar! *gets camera ready* maybe I ought to buy a Dunder/Mifflin shirt and wear that to the office party :p

Uncle Du 22 Posted December 3, 2007 Our is at this really nice resort down at the beach. They were offering special rates for military for that night, $50 for a suite overlooking the ocean. I reserved one, then found out that I had to work the next day. Wouldn't you know, today I find out that I will have the day after off. Oh well.
Mara 29 Posted December 4, 2007 Yeah, well, our party is during the day, so I only get about 2 hours off and have to work the rest So basically I get paid for a normal 8 with working just 6.

Mara 29 Posted December 4, 2007 Did anyone see Extreme Makeover: House Edition last night? I was so totally jealous of this little boy's room. He's a Star Wars fan, so he got an X-wing bed, there was an awesome mural with the Death Star and TIEs on the wall, he had a desk (I think) with the front viewscreen of the Millennium Falcon's cockpit on it, he had lightsabers and Boba Fett's helmet and a life-sized Yoda figure and all sorts of stuff from Lucasfilm. And Chewie came to help put it together! I want that room! But I think it's weird to be jealous of a 5-year-old boy. My mom stared at me funny whenever they showed the room because I was jumping around, I was so excited about it.
