Mara 29 Posted March 9, 2009 Totally. I think it might be the first Trek movie I see. :p
Chickenman 9 Posted March 10, 2009 The only Trek movie I've ever seen beginning to end was Star Trek Saves the Whales!!! (I might have gotten the title wrong) For some reason it soured the series for me. :p
Drake 53 Posted March 10, 2009 Yeah, it would. Although, there are a couple worse that you could have watched. VI: The Undiscovered Country is probably the best of the original series movies. IMO, First Contact was the best of the TNG movies followed closely by Nemesis. The new one should top them all, though.
Chickenman 9 Posted March 10, 2009 I thought II was supposed to be the best of the original series. Not that I've seen it, lol
Drake 53 Posted March 10, 2009 Yeah, Wrath of Khan was good too.
Andy 60 Posted March 11, 2009 I thought Nemesis was pretty good, can't remember if I saw First Contact or not... Hmm... I'll probably see the new one sometime; I'm intrigued. lol
Drake 53 Posted March 11, 2009 First Contact was the one with the Borg and they went back in time to the first warp flight.
Andy 60 Posted May 4, 2009 This seems to be a busy year for films... There wasn't really that many good films on last year (that I can remember), but so far we've had X-men Origins: Wolverine and I'm now looking forward to: Star Trek Terminator: Salvation Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Harry Potter and Whatever the Film is Called Can't remember the last time there were so many films I wanted to see! Uncle Du 22 Posted May 4, 2009 You forgot GI Joe!!! Go watch the new trailer NOW. This is going to be awesome...
Andy 60 Posted May 4, 2009 That'll probably flop here. GI Joe was never that big over here. Probably because 95% of people wouldn't know what a GI is. They renamed him "Action Man" over here, as far as I know.
Uncle Du 22 Posted May 4, 2009  Action Man? Oh man, that is awesome.

Mara 29 Posted May 12, 2009 I think the only one I kind of want to see this summer is Land of the Lost. Looks cheesy, but that's okay. And perhaps the second Night at the Museum movie. If I can rent the first one in time.
Princess 35 Posted May 13, 2009 I want to see Angels and Demons. I need to read the book! It's a good read

Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted May 13, 2009 I want to see Angels and Demons. I need to read the book! It's a good read the li'l sis swears it's better than DaVinci Code.

Uncle Du 22 Posted May 20, 2009 Trailer for Sherlock Holmes This movie looks really good. Downey Jr. is back in full force. Damn he's an awesome actor.
Mara 29 Posted May 20, 2009 Hmm.... I must be remembering Sherlock differently. It has been a while since I read all the stories, haha. But this looks good... though, Downey Jr. isn't who I would pick to be very Sherlock-esque. :p
Uncle Du 22 Posted May 21, 2009 Why not, Holmes was a strung out addict, just like Downey. :p
Mara 29 Posted May 21, 2009 (edited) I suppose... Maybe I'm just too used to that trademark checkered hat and cloak in the older specials and movies. Plus, Jude Law as Watson? (If I caught that right). Edited May 21, 2009 by Mara
Andy 60 Posted May 21, 2009 Could be worse, the way films have been lately I'm surprised it's not Christian Bale as Holmes and Shia LaBeouf as Watson. :p
Mara 29 Posted May 22, 2009 Shia LeBouf *shudders* Do not say that! Bale might actually be a cool Sherlock, anyway. Anyone know if this is supposed to be like his early life, or is it supposed to follow one of the stories/mysteries written by Doyle?
