Mara 29 Posted November 22, 2007 But IMAX tickets cost more. Oh, well... if I go with friends, I'll to IMAX. If I go alone, I'll just see it regular, since the theater is just 5 minutes away. The IMAX is about 35 minutes away.
Drake 53 Posted November 22, 2007 The IMAX tickets were like two dollars more where I went. That's nothing crazy. And it's spelled "naked". Nekkid is not a word. ;)

Ender 8 Posted November 24, 2007 B.B. King at Music Hall, Cincinnati Absolutely one of the most amazing performances I have ever seen. The man is 82 years old, but he can still perform with the best of them. His stories and bites of wisdom were absolutely fantastic, and Lucille sounded as pure as a guitar possibly can. His backing band was really, really good, as well. A+
Princess 35 Posted November 25, 2007 Just got back from Beowulf in IMAX 3D, which was totally cool in and of itself, however I felt that the CGI didn't blend with the live action parts as well as it could have so for that I'm giving it a A-/B+
Drake 53 Posted November 25, 2007 Uhh...there was no live action. :shifty:
Andy 60 Posted November 25, 2007 That's what I thought... lol :p
Princess 35 Posted November 25, 2007 Ok well, the few live characters then :p
Ayingel 24 Posted November 25, 2007 Hitman: B+/A- I enjoyed it well enough. I haven't ever played the game, but I got a glimpse while in the theatre...Two kids were playing the game in the movie towards the beginning while he broke through a hotel window....I can, however, tell the movie was meant more for the male flavour anyway with the way the women were dressed (or lack there of >.<). I still liked it tho, plenty of action, and the twist at the end was quite interesting, (be sure to remember who everyone is!!!) and, of course, the end helped the beginning make sense. ^^
Mara 29 Posted November 26, 2007 Yeah, didn't they do Beowulf with that motion capture or something?
Ayingel 24 Posted November 26, 2007 i thought that they did beowulf the same way as polar express....
Mara 29 Posted November 26, 2007 Yeah. I just don't remember what the technique is called. Looks similar to 300, as well. But I'm not sure if it's the same.
Drake 53 Posted November 27, 2007 300 was live-action done in front of green screen. Beowulf was probably done with motion capture or something similar but there were no actual live actors seen in the movie. It was completely CG-ified.
Mara 29 Posted November 27, 2007 Didn't I say motion capture?
Drake 53 Posted November 28, 2007 You asked a question. I answered said question.

Drake 53 Posted November 28, 2007 Futurama: Bender's Big Score = A+! That's right. NEW FUTURAMA MOVIE! I downloaded and just finished watching it. I must say, it's good having Futurama back! Now, I don't know if this means that the show has been renewed but they did have a whole opening sequence making fun of Fox and their cancellation, just like Family Guy did...only this was better. The movie was great and funny and they brought back a lot of favourite characters like Santa and the Harlem Globe Trotters. Spoiler: The best part was at the end, when the forces of Earth were in the space battle against the gold Death Stars of the scammer aliens and Hermes' head was linked to the Planet Express Ship to coordinate the fleet. It was funny when Al Gore's head, in his little spaceship, flew into the "Achilles Vent" (I thought it said Antilles first, until I went back to make sure...too bad) to blow one up. It's direct-to-DVD but will most likely be playing on Fox eventually.
