Go see it once. As a matinee. And bring your own refreshments.

Don't tell him to take his own refreshments... He'd end up either getting chucked out or arrested, the alcoholic. ;) :p

I'd see it if I had the chance.

But to me there's one thing wrong with all of the MI's.

Tom Cruise is the main character. I mean he's a good actor...but he himself is just a....hm...how to put it nicely...a bith. I've never liked him as himself....but his movies are still good.

Indeed. How could that be the star of Top Gun and Days of Thunder???

Because he's good at pretending at being someone else :p

He's just a crap person on his own. Too bad we can't make a virtual representation of him...

Full Metal Jacket: 5 Stars

Great movie that demonstrates the dehumanizing process that goes into breeding a soldier. From the brutal experiences of bootcamp, to the hells of the Vietnam war, the main charachter, Joker, watches a world turned upside down. The story is brutal and unsparing. The scenes are soaked with scathing irony. Some great quotes are sprinkled liberally throughout the movie. Lee Ermey does a brilliant job as the drill sergeant. Action, a brilliant story, a spectacular cast of charachters, all come together to form an amazing movie.

I thought it was good, but felt it went downhill after Ermey got blown away. *shrugs*

I'd have to say that Full Metal Jacket was the best war movie...and I've seen quite a few.

I've decided to review a game no one will ever play :p

Guild Wars: Factions.

Grade: A

A stand alone expansion to Guild Wars, it continues to provide a free MMORPG style game. The additions fit perfectly, giving the RP players a BETTER story (although short) to run through, and two new classes. For PVP players, it gives them guild alliances, and "alliance wars" where guilds can control towns through victories in alliance battles. In addition, each class gets extra skills (though many are repeats of old ones).

All in all, very good.

I'd play it if I had it...and had the time to play an MMO...

F.E.A.R.

I haven't played much of it yet...But wow, it's fun. I'm not going to describe too much, is a game better finding out about on your own. All I'll say is graphics are pretty, physics are fun, plot is strange, and impaling targets to whatever is behind them with the nail gun is fun :D

I'd say it's an A...though it could change by the time I beat it.

It's getting annoying for me...but it's because of the pc. With a few games, the comp will shut itself off randomly while I'm playing...grrrrrr.

OH yeah...she's kind of freaky. Haven't really encountered much of her yet...just little apparitions, and other paranormal encounters referring to her....

But yeah I'd say it's the best FPS (on PC) since HL2.

HL2 was overrated, and console FPSs aren't generally up to much anyways.

I have had FEAR since it came out, but I have hardly played it for some reason. lol. I'll break it again sometime. lol

I thought HL2 was good, though it deffinately didn't live up to the hype...it still wasn't a let down.

I'll throw some links up for GI, screenshots I just took in FEAR.

Nailgun goodness

(that one's overlapping a previous pic)

Not sure what this one is...just some thing that ran out of the fire at me.

Again, this one is overlapping a previous. And is also pretty bloody.

Aye it was shorter than I thought...But I played HL2 for more than just campaign mode...

It's only the most modded game ever created :p
