They are all numbers. Its another way of counting.

In the X-wing series, it says somewhere that Verpine count in base 6. This means that they count 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 20 etc. We count in base 10. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 etc

Binary is base 2, so it goes 1,10,11,100,101,110,111,1000 etc

Hexidecimal is base 16, so it goes 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,a,b,c,d,e,f,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,1a,1b,1c etc

All these are just numbers.

actually I think zero is counted as the first number

eg:

0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9

That's because 0 is the first in binary. Rarely is a 1 first.

That's wrong. If there is a 0 at the beginning of a numbe, it is pointless

0111 is the same as 111. Both = 7

binary's not a code. It's just another way of counting. Look. I'm gonna put the numbes up to ten in all of the bases 2(binary)-10(decimal)

Base 10(Decimal): 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10

Base 2(Binary): 1 10 11 100 101 110 111 1000 1001 1010

Base 3: 1 2 10 11 12 20 21 22 100 101

Base 4: 1 2 3 10 11 12 13 20 21 22

Base 5: 1 2 3 4 10 11 12 13 14 20

Base 6: 1 2 3 4 5 10 11 12 13 14

Base 7: 1 2 3 4 5 6 10 11 12 13

Base 8: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 10 11 12

Base 9: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 10 11

That's it. They're all just ways of counting.

I thought you might be. In that, I don't know the translations, but i do know that the 1s and 0s represent Positive or Negative output from logic gates

How do you decode binary? Cos in truth, binary is just a number, lie hexidacimal or decimal.

The letters are assigned a code. A might be 1, B might be 10, C 11, D100, but I don't know. that would be a lot of zeroes
