Uncle Du 22 Posted July 28, 2009 My Little Man!! I LOVE that last one. I love the clarity of these pics, they were taken by one of my exes friends who is an aspiring photographer. He's got a Nikon D90. If anyone cares. ;)
Chickenman 9 Posted July 28, 2009 He looks more and more like you with every picture. Hopefully that'll remedy itself. :p
Uncle Du 22 Posted July 28, 2009 I figured it would be you that said something to that effect first. What can I say, he'll be a lady killer. :D
Princess 35 Posted July 28, 2009 I'm still going to kidnap that child. And steal your friend's camera :p
Chickenman 9 Posted July 28, 2009 I figured it would be you that said something to that effect first. What can I say, he'll be a lady killer. I was going to say it 2 or 3 photoshoots ago, but then the ESPNs were on.
Chickenman 9 Posted September 19, 2009 Guys.... The fro is gone. Memorials for the fro will be held from now until someone else posts their pics. For now, a retrospective: John's fro on a trip to Boston. John's fro is most displeased. John's fro and an innocent bystander. THE MOST PERFECT PAINTING OF FOREVER!!!! (Same trip, but no fro.) John's fro and comedian Mike Birbiglia
Uncle Du 22 Posted September 19, 2009 All hail the fro!! Dude, you got to meet Mike Birbiglia, that's awesome!! That dude is hilarious!
Chickenman 9 Posted September 19, 2009 I told him he was an influence on my stand-up and he gave me some advice. Ridiculously cool guy. I met Joebags too.
Uncle Du 22 Posted September 19, 2009 That is so cool. It's so weird to meet people that have made it and see how a lot of them are so cool and down to earth.
TheUnknown 39 Posted September 19, 2009 If you want to see what I look like, my Xbox 360 avatar now kinda looks like me. My previous avatar, other than being white and male, looked nothing like me.
Uncle Du 22 Posted September 19, 2009 LOL, I'll check it when I log in. ;)
Chickenman 9 Posted September 19, 2009 That is so cool. It's so weird to meet people that have made it and see how a lot of them are so cool and down to earth. I've only met two popular comedians so far, but judging from them and from the many many many interviews I've read with others, comedians seem to be a little more down to earth than a lot of celebrities. I mean, the comedy circuit is such an odyssey that you never really forget where you came from. (Not to compare myself to anyone remotely successful, but I'm fortunate enough to have only bombed a couple of times, with countless more times in my future, but it sticks with you. It's humiliating. And then you get back up and do it again.) I imagine that that kind of experience keeps you humble. And even some of the more popular comedians aren't exactly rich. Ender 8 Posted September 19, 2009 I've met a few, and the only one who wasn't cool was Norm McDonald. Dude was just a total ass.
Uncle Du 22 Posted September 20, 2009 I always kinda got that impression about him. A buddy of mine met Harland Williams and said he was the coolest, chilled out dude.
Chickenman 9 Posted September 20, 2009 I almost saw Harland perform. :/ And Norm Macdonald is the best. I can see how his shtick might be off putting though.
Ender 8 Posted September 20, 2009 Oh, he's really funny, he was just a total egocentric nerfherder in person.
Chickenman 9 Posted September 20, 2009 Well I mean his shtick follows him off the stage. I can see how it wouldn't be quite as charming in conversation.
