Drake 53 Posted May 27, 2009 The only curse the Bible specifically forbids is using God's name in vain. It doesn't mention any other specific words because they change constantly and with each culture. We takes those words to mean bad things and we say them as curse words so those verses are relevant as such. The fine line comes when you don't believe those words to be bad so you think you can run your mouth. However, the people who hear them might be offended and so they're still bad.
