Ayingel 24 Posted June 5, 2008 these are the pictures from the fire at my uncle's ex-wife's house this is the outside of the house all the siding is melted...most of the fire was located in the garage, with some licks in the kitchen and living room. here's the inside of the garage my uncle still had some big things in here, and just hadn't gotten them out yet. he hasn't looked to see if his tools are okay. this is the living room. that's the piano under the sheet. they covered it so that none of the insulation could ruin it. surprisingly, the insulation didn't burn at all even tho it was paper. the beams were still smoldering a little while my mom was in there. this is the kitchen. those specs aren't on the camera lens, that's soot and smoke still flying around inside. mom and uncle mike weren't wearing masks, but looking at this photo my mom realized she should have been. this is kris' room. there's a hole in the ceiling right outside of the shot, but it's a little hard to see. not much will be saved from this room because the fire was actually in here. this is my cousin jack's room. the dogs were in here once the fire started and kris woke up. it was their safe spot. at first, when kris opened the garage door (she wasn't fully awake at 2:30 am) the fire didn't spread right away (luckily) but she yelled for everyone to get out. but she didn't say fire, so jack thought someone was in the house so he went and hid behind the wall in his closet. then when he heard fire, he ran out but thought the dogs were behind him. they weren't and they stayed in his room. evan (my other cousin) tried to go in three more times to get the dogs, but never made it up the stairs from the basement. my uncle reprimanded him on the phone because my he's has burns on his legs from when he was a deputy and went in to save someone and his uniform melted to his legs. the dogs died because of their natural fear of fire and smoke...but they were heroes. jack still thinks that the dogs dying is his fault. i don't have any pictures of evan's room...he was in the basement...and there wasn't any damage in there. only some smoke damage and smell. Most of that is personal issues that a few of you know about and some wish you didn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t. Anyway I was playing on the computer at four in the morning.... because it seems like such a good idea, and I was figuring out some of the features of my web cam and found out it can take pictures. I snapped a couple off... I have a lip stain on my lips from three days ago and that\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s it for makeup. I have never believed people when they told me I was pretty... I just didn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t. I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ve been told for years, from people I trusted that I am ugly and fat. I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ve grown up believeing that and never getting why people have called me pretty before... I don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t honestly say even now, that I am... but at least I saw it a little bit in a couple of these pictures.
