Mickey 1 Posted January 28, 2005 If it ain't my Broncos ... I don't care anymore. Although super bowl parties are fun anyways ... but we rarely watch the game. It's mostly some BBq-ing coupled with some drunkeness and a dash of randiness thrown in.

Chickenman 9 Posted February 6, 2005 *Runs in, dressed in red, white and blue* *Grabs two whyrens* Here's to the Pats winning the super bowl! *Downs a whyren* And here's to Tom Brady not stealing the Super Bowl MVP again this year! *Downs the second whyrens* *Gets a refill on the second one* *Downs it again* :D
Chickenman 9 Posted February 7, 2005 Patriots win. Overated quarterback (though still quite good) doesn't win Superbowl MVP. I'm happy.
Ender 8 Posted February 7, 2005 Jesus, I'm waiting for the explosions to start in Boston... first the Red Sox, now the Pats...

GI_Admiral 2 Posted February 8, 2005 (edited) Yeah, was happy for Sox...not about Pats But the Eagles screwed themselves over. Edited February 8, 2005 by GastroIntestinal Parasite
Chickenman 9 Posted February 8, 2005 Eagles were stupid. With 3 minutes left, a needing bot a touchdown and a field goal just to tie, they fooled around, took their sweet, sweet time. But yeah, the pats have gotten pretty boring lately, being undefeatable and all. The first superbowl they won was magic. The second one, pretty damn good. This one was okay, but not exactly the most exciting. Towards the end, I still wanted the pats to win, but it meant so much less this time around.
thecrazymandowntheroad 0 Posted February 10, 2005 A couple things about the Super Bowl...Part A: Deion Branch deserves the MVP. Brady played too badly in the first quarter to win his third. Branch was fantastic the entire game and tied a Super Bowl record with 11 catches. Part B: A message to Freddie Mitchell, stick that in your pipe and smoke it. The Patriot DB you had on your list had more catches than you. Message to all teams in the NFL, don't taunt the Patriots. Part C: This business about Donovan McNabb being sick in the huddle during the fourth is pointless. Hank Fraley is grasping at straws to find a reason why the Eagles lost. McNabb himself said that he wasn't sick during the game. If he had, for Pete's sake Any Reid, throw Koy Detmer in there. Nothing like blowing chunks on the 50 yard line. Part D: This was a close Super Bowl, but by no means a great one. The Patriots had many false starts. The Eagles mismanaged the clock in the final quarter. Besides that, everyone on the Eagles seemed to get cramps like crazy. No offense, Andy Reid, you've got to keep your team healthy for the Super Bowl. The winner was the team whose mistakes didn't hurt as bad as the other. Part E: Yes, I was wrong about the score. Oh well. I made a mistake. Part F: Corey Dillon proved to everyone that he is a team player with over 100 total yards and 70 some odd rushing. Pat G: I commend Terrell Owens' Curt Schilling-like performance. Well done. Now get ready for next year. Final: The only high point of this game was the fantastic play of New England's young corners. Randall Gay(yes that is his name) and Asante Samuel played beautiful coverage all game long setting aside a few big plays given up to the speed demon Greg Lewis and Terrell Owens. Overall this game was disappointing, I think. I have decided to call it the Stupor Bowl
Mara 29 Posted February 11, 2005 (edited) *mumbles* Yeah, stupid Eagles.... Edited February 11, 2005 by Mara
thecrazymandowntheroad 0 Posted February 12, 2005 And now back to steroids in baseball. Jason Giambi had a press conference this past Thursday. He apologized for everything. Yet didn't mention steroids once. Talk about beating around the bush. More Baseball: The most famous ankle in baseball(See Curt Schilling) is still having trouble healing from the "warrior-like" performance in the playoffs. Winning the series is great. But I don't think Schilling will compete for Cy Young this year. An unknown will probably win. And the blasted Yankees have Randy Johnson pitching to the Sox on Opening Day in Fenway...grumble grumble...salary cap...grumble grumble...
