Mickey 1 Posted October 6, 2004 yay for my twins looks like we're about to wrap up game 1, hopefully this isn't a repeat of our performance last year ... 3 straight loses but we are one solid team this year, I mean we even got computer geek extraordinaire Lew Ford funny story I heard about him from one of the morning radio shows in The Cities. Manager Ron Gardenheir was eating in a restaurant with his wife when the team was in CA. He saw Lew sitting with some people so he went over to say hi to his player. He asked who the people with Lew were. Lew answered, something to the effect of, "These are some guys I met on the internet playing Doom." Now how cool a guy is that? One of the top hitters in baseball hanging out with some folks he's never met aside from online gaming. He's a close second for my fav player now, noone will ever top Torii Hunter though.
