  1. The Star Wars movie collection will soon be available as a HD digital download purchase for the first time from 10 April. The films will be available both as a complete Digital Movie Collection and individually, and has been announced for release on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, and Xbox Video. The versions available will be the editions created for the Blu-ray release in 2011, leaving some fans dismayed that the original theatrical cuts of the original trilogy will not be available, but the official Star Wars site has promised even more never before seen behind the scenes footage will be available as bonus extras. According to Jedi News a very reliable source has revealed to them that all six Star Wars movies will be receiving a digital release for the first time in November 2014, as Lucasfilm have now finished digitising the complete saga. Additionally, the report suggests that even more previously unseen footage has been unearthed and will be also released. There is little information available at the moment though, so hopefully something more concrete is confirmed soon!
