  1. Star Wars: Uprising, due later this year, will show us the state of the galaxy in the aftermath of Return of the Jedi. Developed by Kabam, Star Wars: Uprising is a new mobile game set after the events of the Battle of Endor in Return of the Jedi, where we finally saw the victory of the Rebel Alliance and the death of the Emperor. This new game which forms part of the official Star Wars canon storyline will give a glimpse of the aftermath of those events. We already know that things aren't going to be rosy in that galaxy far far away by the time The Force Awakens rolls around, but what we don't know is how the Rebel victory fell short of achieving it's goal to restore the Republic. The trailer for Uprising suggests that new enemies are rising to fill the power vacuum left by the Emperor, and you'll get the chance to take them on. Star Wars: Uprising is scheduled to release later this year for Android and iOS, with beta testing due this summer. Don't forget to check out the official Star Wars: Uprising site and sign up for updates. View full article
