Well, from my friend at work, he said that 1080p is going out soon, they're working on 1440p right now... so you gotta get Blu-Ray... because I gotta see the bleeding pores on Toby McGuire when he pulls off the mask in Spider-Man 3 (and I don't even have a Blu-Ray player, my family deems it unnecessary...)

Just regular DVDs are fine for me. As long as they're widescreen.

One of my mates is buying up HD-DVDs cos the price has plummeted.

I'm like, "what happens when your HD-DVD player breaks down and you can't get a new one?"

Or your VCR is indirectly hit by lightning and it takes forever to find a replacement machine. :p

I think in a couple of years time it will be easier to find a VCR than a HD-DVD player. Mainly because there are bajillions of VCRs out there. lol
