Pandora 77 Posted August 1, 2007 Hey, Andy, I hate to ask you to do any work, but do you think it would be possible for you to create a new forum for the weight-loss support group Kia brought up in the pics thread? We had a nice long chat on the phone last night about it and I think it's a great idea. But if it's possible, we think it would probably do better to have restricted access, because we thought it might be easier for some people to share if they knew only people that were trying to lose weight could see it as well. From experience, the more open the participants of the group are, the more effective the group really is. Some stuff we came up with: *Weekly weigh-ins (we'll be more honest if it's a private forum) *Before and after pics *Threads to post different diet ideas, like Kia's LA Weightloss pamphlet, the right way to do Slim-Fast, etc *Diary threads (like a blog, but easier to access and comment) *Meal ideas and recipes *Success stories *Exercise ideas *Words of encouragement/good quotes, etc, whatever *And, of course, a thread for goal-setting and commitment pledges. Kia and I can mod it, and it just might give the participants a really good excuse to be on gb everyday.... Please? :puppydogeyes: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
