Ender, Corran and I used to do this at the RS Cantina at SW.com.

Game: Secret Weapons over Normandy.

A Japanese freighter had been damaged and was limping back to Japan with a small destroyer escort. We were determined to keep it from making it back home. My wingmate and I, along with some fellow American pilots, flew out to provide air support. As soon as we were within range, I made a critical mistake. I glanced away from the battle to reduce my thrust, and when my eyes returned to the action, I was in a storm of anti-aircraft fire, courtesty of the enemy destroyers. In front of me, two "Zeke" fighters were looping up to head my way. Navigating through the AA, I sighted a Zeke and poured bullets into it's hull. It burst into flames, but not before doing some damage of it's own to me. Shrugging it off, I sighted the other "Zeke" and shot it down. Checking my plane, I saw that it was nearly destroyed. A combination of mistakes had caused this.

a) Glancing down to fix my throttle had lead me into the AA fire.

b) I made a head-to-head pass. This is dangerous against one plane. I had gone against two.

c) This was my first time flying a Hellcat (my current plane) into battle. I had grossly overestimated how much of a beating it could take.

With fire pouring out from the end of my plane, I realized I probably wouldn't survive this engagment. However, I was willing to do what damage I could. I targeted another Zeke, and shot him down. The rest of my squadron had taken out the rest of the Zekes. From a nearby base, the Japanese sent out bombers and more fighters. Shooting down bombers and fighters left and right, I flew to the best of my ability to keep myself alive long enough to encounter the next wave of planes. And I did. And another wave came after that one. I survived that wave. And the one after that. Soon, no more enemy planes were in the sky. Not believing my luck, I checked my plane's health, and saw that it was hanging on by a mere sliver. Glancing down to the ocean, I saw that the Japanese destroyers had moved too far forward, and the freighter was unprotected. Flying in, I dropped some bombs on it, and sunk it. My plane on fire, but still flying, I pulled up into a lazy arc and headed home. Still, I wondered, what was the freighter carrying that made it such an important target?

I almost joined it. But I was too lazy to figure out how to disable my firewall. Actually, I'm still too lazy to figure out how to disable it.

*searches, copies, pastes*

A couple from BF1942:RtR, last night...

Funny moment with Janson/Ender (whatever you want to call him).

I jumped in a tank to leave the British base, when Ender jumped in the tank aswell, yelling "Go go go!!!" about three times... I saw an enemy soldier creeping around by a building, and tried to get him, but he ran up the stairs.

I figured the best way to get him would be to run after him on foot, so I crept after him, and at the top of the stairs I saw nothing.

Suddenly, I saw someone just at the edge of my vision, so spun round to shoot him. Unfortunatly it was Ender, who had been sneaking along behind me. lol.

From a different game, level: Market Garden.

I was flying around shooting at tanks, when I decided to be a bit of a daredevil and flew my plane underneath the main bridge, bombed an enemy tank on the stone bridge, and headed out of the enemy base. I was shot down and had to walk back through the Axis base to freedom, and I made it to a small house, when some troops spotted me and I ran inside. I managed to kill them all, but I had practically no life left, and there was a tank waiting outside for me.

Then, the guy in the tank got out to get me, so I ran as fast as I could to this tank and drove off. I knew the only two ways to drive away were covered in mines, so I went as far as I could before an enemy tank found me. Just then a group of tanks from my own side came through, giving me a chance to get to the nearest bunker for medical supplies. I then went on to help kill some bad guys with the rest of my team :)

Game - Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty

The enemy had seen me, so I ran into a locker room and hid in the locker farthest from the door.

The search team came in and started opening the lockers - I was thinking "Uhoh" by this time, and they got closer and closer...

Eventually they opened my locker's door, and at the exact same moment someone walked through the door, and they turned to see who it was, so I quickle shut the locker door again, before he could see me - and then the all clear signal went, and they walked back to their positions!

It was hilarious at the time, lol.

been playing battlefront alot lately and can't think of any funny moments so I list some of my best kill scores. Kashyyk Docks I played as a Rebel Marksman and had 53 kills with the sniper rifle and no life loss myself ... best Public Enemy score so far. On Kashyyk Islands while playing Historical Campaign I had 73 kills in two lives ... That was pretty solid. And on Bespin Platforms I took out 13 enemy Fighters with my X-WING. I remember back to the days of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 on N64 I found a spot on the Minneapolis map that I could score an infinite number of points on a grind with the perfect balance cheat ... so I had that going for me.

Oh yeah and then there was the time that I sucked really, really bad at Gran Turismo 3. I played my friend and he dominated me consistently, then I learned how to play it. It was funny to see his face when I he realized he wasn't the best at that game anymore.

My friend came back for thanksgiving weekend and we were at a friends house who just got Halo 2. Living on campus my friend played alot of Halo LAN, so he thought he was hot sith. I'd never played it ... beat him 6 to 4 ... came back from down 4-0. That energy sword kicks ass.

I remember when me and my friends were big into Capcom v. SNK 2. Everyone thought they were hot sith, until they found out I had mastered Akuma's level 3 super move. You don't know embarassment until you have experienced the "Shun Goku Satsu". Haha!

Last week, two of my friends decided to invite me to play Super Smash Brothers Brawl with them. So we played for a while, and then we made the brilliant decision to play with ninety nine lives. I was playing as Marth, and my friends were Peach and Pikachu. Well, Peach was floating around in the air and Marth was jumping up, and I pressed pause. Then I changed the camera angle so that you could see what Marth was looking at.

By the way, Pikachu wanted to murder me after that.

I need to put up a screenshot or two of a multiplayer game in Total Annihilation. I had the best base defences ever. :p

I say screenshot.... I actually couldn't get the screenshot function to work, so had to take a photo of the screen.

The defences at the entrance to my base had a ridiculous and impressive amount of kills between them. :D

In my opinion, one of the toughest screen shots to EVER make is of someone looking down a scope and taking a screenshot of a sniper trying to counter-snipe you.... I did this on Day of Defeat 1.3... SADLY, I no longer have it and it is gone forever... (But I did snipe the guy trying to snipte me... for some reason, I got in a lucky spot that is REALLY hard to snipe, it would either go above or below me, but every once and a while, I did get counter-sniped...)

ToCA Race Driver 3:

Starting dead last at Bathurst/Mt. Panorama out of a field of 20... in a Formula 3 racer..and winning. :D

Being open wheel cars, it's extremely unnerving to drive on the mountain. If you make contact with the walls, you'll damage your suspension and/or

knock off your wheels and be out. There is NO run off where you'd really like it, and the retaining walls are

right there, you come around a blind turn and hope you're memorized the track enough, as you turn in and there's another wall right infront of you.

It's not my vid and it's not an F3 car..it's one of the V8's. But it does show how narrow the track looks from onboard a car.

I didn't even know this thread exsisted. :p

A while ago, in Halo 3, I was in a shotty snipers match. I happened across a trio of enemy players tucked away in a small raised plateau where they were sniping from. So I snag me the cloak, make my way over there, jump right in between them and take them each out with my shotgun to their faces. I got one of them right off the bat before the other two turned on me, took out the second one before he could get a shot off, then traded fire with the third before taking him down too.

I swear, it was like a scene from Equilibrium or something. I was practically dodging bullets. :p

How 'bout a caption: "When I say jump, you say, HEY! What're you doin' layin' down?!" :p

Ahh, shotty snipes on Valhalla. I hate that one. Mostly cause I just played that same game and map yesterday and got waxed. :p

And since we're bringing up old stuff...

One of my best matches. Couldn't get the Perfection though.
