So, what are everyone's favorite genres? Authors? Books? Quotes?

What are everyon'es least favorite genres? Authors? Books?

Some of my favorite non-SW books

The Shining by Stephen King

IT by Stephen King

Bag of Bones by Stephen King

Skeleton Crew by Stephen King

1984 by George Orwell

The Animorphs Series by K.A. Applegate

Some of my least favorite non-SW Books

Dreamcatcher by Stephen King

Lost Boy, Lost Girl by Peter Straub

As you may can tell, my favorite author is Stephen King.

My Book Wishlist

Various works by John Grisham (haven't read anything by him yet)

Various works by Anne Rice (haven't read anything by her yet)

Various works by Tom Clancy (haven't read anything by him yet)

Various works by Stephen King/Richard Bachman

A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Jennifer Government

Abandon by Sean Desmond

More than anything, I want to branch out in the genre of horror. I've read two Dean Koontz books that weren't exactly phenominal. And I've read one Peter Straub book.

the Dune series is uber awesome. there's also a series i've been reading called the Tennis Shoe series where a group of kids find a cave that takes them back into biblical times and they get to watch it all happen. it's really cool. *taps foot waiting for book 10*

Bad furday

It really wasn't...

especially since I managed to horrify my english teacher by drawing parallels between the pretty lady who is unnamed and manages to get her neck broken, and the song which features the line,

"I've rode across a desert on a horse with no name..." :p
