Pandora 77 Posted October 19, 2007 Rain finally! I saw the COOLEST lightning storm on the drive home tonight. It was the most incredible thing I've ever seen. No rain, no thunder, just electricity. Anyone else getting a taste of this storm system yet?
Princess 35 Posted October 19, 2007 Yeah, all night at work I heard "Attention Attention, Code Black, Level 1 is now in effect" repeated 3 times an hour. And then it was bumped up to a level 2 at one point. Our storm came with tornadoes
Andy 60 Posted October 19, 2007 Yeah, all night at work I heard "Attention Attention, Code Black, Level 1 is now in effect" repeated 3 times an hour. And what does that mean in English?

Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted October 19, 2007 yeah, there were some around here too. we needed the rain, though. i was just upset that it started after i got home and too late for Rob and i to go play in it.
Mara 29 Posted October 19, 2007 Yeah, there were reports of tunnel clouds and such over here. Stupid storms and weather reports made me miss part of CSI.
Princess 35 Posted October 19, 2007 Yeah, all night at work I heard "Attention Attention, Code Black, Level 1 is now in effect" repeated 3 times an hour. And what does that mean in English? Honestly, to me, it sounds like a message to put your head between your knees and kiss your ass goodbye. But a level 1 code black is a tornado watch, level 2 is a warning
Pandora 77 Posted October 21, 2007 Nah. Put your head between your knees and kiss your ass goodbye is when the Florida goverment issues this order: "Mandatory evacuation, level 5." That means a big ass hurricane is about to wash the entire state away. In other words: Leave now or spend your last day on earth in a panhandle jail cell.
