I know that I have no real need for it... but dear sweet Jesus I want it. Yeah, they'll likely improve it on the next model, but for the present, it's the definitive mothereffing datapad. It's a lovely futuristic touchscreen datapad. Even if it's old news in a year, I still WANT it now.

Impulse control is the key here. *cannot go to Apple's website anymore*

iPad....

So, I was in an AT&T store today, and I asked about the pricing for the 3G plan with the iPad. It's going to be 30 bucks a month, unlimited access, and no contract. You don't have to renew a current contract with AT&T or even have one to begin with. I think this might be because we're going to start seeing the iPhone get shipped to different carriers in the next year or two, so AT&T is trying to garner some favor with consumers by not making you get a contract if all you want is an iPad.

Du that does look pretty cool. I wouldn't have any need for one though. Hell, I'm sick of my cell phone, but it's something I need for right now. The pricing and no contract stuff from AT&T is cool, but I'm not a fan of AT&T. I'm not a fan of my current carrier Sprint either for that matter. The over the phone customer service sucks. In April I'll be able to start looking into a different carrier. :hehe:

Already have a Sony ebook reader...don't think I'll invest in this unless my Sony breaks. Although the fact that it has internet would be nice...still, have a computer that works just fine, internet on my phone, and an ebook reader. I'm good for now.

And now that I've actually met Apple's newest arrival, I am EVEN MORE IN LOVE WITH IT THAN I THOUGHT (KNEW) I'D BE. It is SO pretty, and SO seamless in its flow, and the typing capability impressed the hell out of me.

I have since made my interest veryveryvery clear to my dad, and with Grad coming up in May... well. I'll just bide my time in sweet yearning. :love:
