At the end if Refugee, a Ssi-ruu general unmasks to reveal himself to be a Yuuzhan Vong. In Vector Prime, 3P0 says that the Vong language is spoken somewhere in the GFFA.
Could this mean that the Vong are descended from beings in the GFFA or possible vice-versa?

No, that's it, they spent thousands of years travelling the galaxy, only to find that they went in a big circle, and are back where they started, only the galaxy has grown into the GFFA by this time.
The idea is possible. They have mentioned that they were crossing the space between galaxies for millenia.
Hyperspace travel was only discovered to the Republic just over 5000 years ago, so the Vong could have left a few millenia before that...
This is most likely just a crazy idea that would be just so wierd that they wouldn't do that, but it would explain the Vong - Ssi-Ruuvi thing
